I like how some people buy limited edition sports cars used and don't even know what they have. Price was right and it is just a MINI right?

I'm glad she joined the club, maybe some of her luck and her keen eye will rub off on me in the event I look for another MINI. :top:

I believe she knows very well what she bought, stickers and all. She liked what the previous owner did, and didn't see any reason to change it. Including the stickers.

Maybe I missed something?

Good she knows how awesome her car is. :top: When she left all the previous owner's stickers and such I guessed (incorrectly) that she just wanted a great commuter car. I have had limited edition cars that people have bought used just because the price was right, they didn't know what they were buying, etc...

had to make a rather impromptu run down to Virginia Beach over the weekend, and I gotta say, the Hampton Roads MINI community is awesome(not that you guys/gals aren't). EVERY MINI I passed, I got a wave from!! Was awesome!

After getting back in to FFX, I saw, for about the 100th time, REDMINI. Wish I knew if they were on here. All red, tinted out, jcw grill, euro plate up front that says REDMINI, and a really clean looking MINI over all, love it.

Was just coming on here to say I saw WUPWUP!

I was eating at Cafesano at the time.

On the way home, I also saw 2 MINIs exiting 267 at the clock tower exit, IIRC.

Every time I go to Dulles 28 for lunch, I must see 50-100 MINIs. That MAY have something to do with me driving right past MINI of Sterling, however...

Hopefully not, nor anyone we know. I was sharing the Tightest parallel parking video with the kid in Marketing and he sent me the picture below. He took this on the bus ride home last week on Connecticut Ave. The driver zoomed through a red light, cut the turn too hard and flipped. They had to cut the top to get the driver out (at least that's the story the kid is telling).

I hope that they are all right.

Is that a Countryman? If it is, bummer, just about brand new.

I guess that they have one of the first Countryman convertibles now. :embarassed:

o man that SUCKS Maryland drivers i tell you ;)

Hey, hey. Let's not get into that now.

The problems with drivers in the ENTIRE Metro area are that most are transplants, not only from around the country but from around the world. Mix all those together with their fast-paced, time crunched, caffeinated lives and you get these types of drivers.

Knowing a number of firefighters (friends and family members)... I know that they were concerned for the occupants but they also hand fun cutting that roof off a new-ish car.

I just don't get how you roll a MINI on a flat road
Higher center of gravity + fast, tight turn = FAIL

The Countryman has a higher center of gravity too. Judging from the bonnet and headlight, it looks to be a CM.
Absolutely a Countryman - 100%, no doubt about it... hence my higher center of gravity remark.
