I DEMAND A RECOUNT! I blame Voter Fraud!

I am taking the Batmobile to get it washed and waxed tomorrow and do a dry run of all my props and costumes and such. I let time slip away from me but thankfully my friend reminded me of the date so we are totally ready.

I am here and the BatPodd is ready! Found a Carwash about 10 min from the hotel. It's an automatic one, but it got the bugs off.

The BatPodd is coming along nicely. Having a 3D Printer has helped with some of the more specific parts: Next additions are the Bat "Ear" Antenne and lights for the roof, and the BatBeam hood.

At this point I think I am looking to start my drive on Wed and try and hit up a few friends along the way down to break up the drive. Sarah (my wife) is flying down on Thursday evening and we are looking to drive back on Sunday or Monday afterwards together. Now to just make sure all of the rest of the Mods for full Batmobile conversion are done.

So the fates have aligned and we were planning a trip to DW for that weekend anyways. We haven't yet bought our tickets yet so now I am seriously debating driving down. We already have hotel booked for Thurs through Sunday, so I would be leaving early in the AM on thursday if I do make the drive. Anyone heading down on Thursday?

Selling my Convertible as I have upgraded to a Clubman. It's a 2005 Convertible S Dark Silver with Black Bonnet stripes. 115k miles It's fully loaded with damn near every option. HK Sound system, Cold weather package, Chrome trim, Auto Wipers and Lights, Xenon Headlights. It's at the shop now getting a number of minor things fixed. Just had a new alternator installed as well as most of the sensors replaced. Feel free to ask any questions about it. Would love to get about $4k for it, but I am super flexible.

The tires I have are 17" so I am going to go with Brian's S-lites. Thanks tho! Would have loved some black rims, but I'll probably just Plastidip the S-lites again.

Oddly enough I need some 17" ones for my 05 Cabrio. how much do you want for the set?

Hey all! I know it's been a while but I had a question and I knew just where to post it. Just took the pod in for the usual maint and they found that my two left rims have pretty significant bends in them which explains my super slow air leak (need to pump back up to PSI every two weeks). So it looks like I am in the market for some new rims. Don't really need new tires as the Continentals I bought are still great. Would love black, but gray works, or really any color since I plastidiped the last ones, I can do it again. If no one is selling any, could you point me in the right direction to get some 3rd party? PPMOA could order some but they would be around $1400 and I would have to make another trip down to get them done. Thanks all!

Never! Just been a rough year with work schedules and travel and such. Will try and do more to be around now that the year is wrapping up.

Well. As I feared, the contract I am on has kicked up again and I need to head back to Sierra vista. This means cleaning and packing before going and the time I would have to do that is Sunday. This means no MINI driving for me. You guys have fun and I'll catch you when I get back.

I really hope the weather stays clear. My costume kind of needs the top to be down.

The worst part about this event is NOT posting any progress pictures! I am all done with the main part of the costume, now it's all little details. It's gonna be totally rad.:rock:

Update!!! Was totally the balance. I came home and found that two of the tires had weights added and two didn't, I remembered that a front tire had the weights on it so I deduced that both weighted tires needed to be in the front. Sure enough, once IA fixed that (one was on the back and both weighted tires were on the same side) everything was good! Thanks for all the input, it certainly gave me a narrower scope to troubleshoot.
