WOW, this is breathtaking. The first one looks just absolutely crazy to me. That sky is really awesome to look at and mesmerizes me.

Definitely agree! From the colors of the sunset in the sky to the city lights in the darkness below, a stunning picture!

I love black and white when there are good dark blacks and a good range of tones. Those are very nice

I think I might like the creek a touch more if the horizon was level.

So on my computer you can see beter detail in the bottom of the pier

See Cleveland really is a nice place!!!!! Although the city has really taken the "Burning River" to heart, besides there being a really good Microbrew by that name, there's a Roller Derby team (Burning River Roller Girls) and even the local MINI club (Burning River MINIs) among others... However the Cuyahoga River is much cleaner now - it was upgraded to just Polluted, it used to be rated as Toxic...

Catalina feel free to use that as a wall paper.

And nharrison - I don't think that's your good side, you might need to get a shot from the other side...

I took this at Croton Dam this morning. It was kind of a blah day, overcast and dull so I flipped it to Black and white. It was almost black and white coming out of the camera.

Nice - but then again I'm a bit of a sucker for the flowy water thing..

Thanks

It had some challenges because the railings were really sturdy and high and made composition limiting. It's a beautiful piece of engineering and a stunning dam.

These are from a Town of Herndon 4th of July fireworks show a couple of years ago. Full EXIF details are available for them, so you can see the settings I used.

All were taken with a Canon PowerShot SD790 IS in a waterproof case(obviously) except for 2 & 3. All of them are unedited, except #1 just cropped.

Only linking because they are pretty large.
We have a plugin on our forums here that automatically resizes embedded image links to fit the screen of the person browsing... and the user has the option to click a message bar at the top to see the "full size" version if they really want to.

So don't be bashful about using the "Insert Image" feature if you like! :)
