Was kinda hoping you weren't still there and were playing hookie at the mall As I was driving home I totally did a double take. I was like "LOLA LOLA !! "
I had a guard stop me the other day he was like "this is a MINI? What about those lights, are they bright?" Yeah baby. MINI. I just didn't have the heart to say the lights weren't wired yet.
No. Mr Wash is responsible. I was getting her cleaned up before the Dragon and Mr Wash ripped my plate right off the front. Didn't realize it till I got all the way home, had to go back (after already making them vac'ing her twice bc they did a shite job, they weren't happy). Then proceeded to walk though the wash to pull the plate out after it had been mutilated. Ugh. Never again Mr Wash, never again.
Not yet. That's part of why I'm holding off on the wiring till it comes. That and I think my brain is fried for a few. This shouldn't have been difficult, but let me tell you, I was cursing like I was still deployed. The kids parents in the park next door probably need a break for awhile.
So after 6 hours, mess ups, dumb mistakes, having no clue what I was doing at times. I finally have them mounted at last. Wiring to come.
Don't laugh, my first "on my own mod in 10 years since buying my first MINI. Props to mechanics people, my hands and back are killing me.
I always pick 4 fingers off the wheel or do the peace raise. Peace usually for people I know have no clue what they are driving ie justa's or shocker........countryman.
Awesome, didn't know they were locals. Been talking to Kim for a few days now. She is doing really well now apparently with the new etsy shop she set up.
So, after lusting on a sticker I saw at the dragon, a "Save the Wave" sticker. I have successfully tracked down the designer/maker. And I guess because I made such a stink about finding it on NAM and Facebook she has now set up a store. I loved the sticker on her husbands cooper that was in the car show (I think it was).
SAVE THE WAVE!
