OOOO I'm so burnt up. I don't think I will have Lady May by Kart Day now. Stupid Baltimore Ravens winning the Super Bowl. None of the dock workers showed up for work today so my ship can't unload my mini to the VDC. It's just sitting in the bay waiting to dock. I really wanted to show her off at Kart Day.

I went through Alexandria Passport MINI. They have been really awesome so I'm hoping that I'll have it by the 9th. I really need to stop watching the Marine traffic website....the ship just keeps chugging along at 18 knots in the north sea....

WOOT! My girl is underway on the Carmen, scheduled to hit the VDC in B'more on the 3rd. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I might actually have her in time to drive her to cart day!

I think that for my first MOD I want to do 4 Hella Black Magics. I was looking at the VIP quad bar. My question is, I'm just not sure I can do this myself. It might be a bit much for me, having to make a cut in the grill and all. Have you all used someone in the Alexandria area to help install?

In my research they have different 'levels' some have private baths, others don't. When I was looking at them it was purely for a tent space to camp out as a last resort. But thankfully got in at Tapoco tonight!!! Next year maybe ill have my teardrop finished and can stay at Fontanas camp grounds. Fingers crossed

From what I understand it is open to the mini group. You can reserve for rooms, but not for tents. No worries. We will find a spot. Tyler, I can't get the Lady from Topaco to say yay or nay. I called her last week and she said that they had room but she would have to call me back by the end of this week. Tried to call again today, no one answered. :hmmmm:

I'm registered, but still don't see my name, they must be super backed up. Question for you veterans, do the tent sites at deals Gap motorcycle lodge fill up? You can't make reservations for tent spots there and I don't want to risk just going if they have filled up in the past.

Just think of your as Kate Moss and mine as Tyra Banks. Both beautiful, one just skin and bones, the other with some junk in the trunk (or boot in this case)

My original 2003 Mini. I drove her cross country at least 5 times. I lost count after a while. We had some great great times and good stories. Miss her!
