I had to skip an errand to attend but I made it there at about 11:30A.

Had my wheels (OEM 17" R112 Challenge) and non-RFT's (Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus) installed this morning at MOCO (thanks Celia for all of your assistance :rock:), just in time for C3M's Toys for Tot's Run tomorrow :motor: While I was waiting my Sharkfin scuttles came in...and I'm thinking about a Big-Brake kit (one reason for OEM wheels)... I think I have JCW-envy :embarassed: .

I've ordered my 17" wheels and non-RFT tires, so now I'm thinking about getting the MINI spare. In searching NAM a poster suggested carrying a DynaPlug as slime can damage the TPMS. Anybody have/use one of these things?

The company and the venue were enjoyable, as usual. I wonder if your private pose will make the public forums?

OK, that one is smaller, so it does fill up. But hopefully we're meeting early enough. Plus we can always move later if we really have to I can't wait to see what you have in mind If the "smaller" garage next door (blue) is too small, is the roof top of the one directly across the street (red) a better option?

No real insistence, I just like what I picked.

My RFTs are wearing out right on schedule, I'll need new tires by EOY. I wanted to go up to 17" and from all of the info already posted (:adore: Edge & cmcveay) it appears I can with 205/45's. My two questions: Per Miata.net my speedo will read 0.4 mph too fast. I do/do not have to have it recalibrated (I thought my speedo was already off, an inherent MINI character trait)? Any suggestions on where to buy OEM MINI wheels other than the dealer? I've already been trolling eBay, CL and NAM classifieds with no luck, and time is running out. Welcome welcome! "If you will be working in Arlington I recommend looking in Arlington, DC" I second that. I have a 1 mile commute which gives me more of my life back instead of burning it up as windshield time. Residing near a Metro rail stop may also be ideal (depends if your job is Metro rail accessible). Either will save your mind and body for more important things in life. But convenience costs, and I don't know what your needs are. Nonetheless we look forward to seeing you and your MINI when you're settled in and can come out and play.
