  1. I saw it on the Internet so it must be true
  2. I think you and Cambo should cross paths. He's definitely into modding (and by his videos he could use another set of hands :-))
  3. Isn't that the case for all of us?
  4. Got a wave from a blue MINI (hyper?) with a handicapped hangtag as I was leaving Liberty this afternoon approx 4PM. Probably not one of us that far north, but heck, Cambo and I were that "far north" just yesterday, so who knows :-))
  5. Ditto. Another enjoyable MTTB event. Sorry I couldn't stay for lunch to extend the fun.
  6. Here is the pre-dinner run: C3M's Annual Crack Pie Rally
  7. Do/will you provide minutes for those who can't attend but want to be "demystified"? :-)
  8. Ah. As there is no circle in the one in the eBay picture I thought it a notch different. When is your item due to arrive?
  9. Here's another kind: http://www.northamericanmotoring.com/gallery/data/500/medium/image299.jpg http://www.northamericanmotoring.com/gallery/data/500/medium/image302.jpg
  10. Ditto. I'm interested in seeing it in operation. Do advise. TIA.
  11. Ok. Let's try this again. The link works outside of TT: http://www.tirerack.com/suspension/suspension.jsp?make=H%26R&model=Street-Perf.+Coil-Over&group=Street-Perf.+Coil-Over&partNum=50457&autoMake=Mini&autoModel=Clubman&autoYear=2011&autoModClar=Cooper+S I would upload a pic but I'm getting an error on that function via TT.
  12. Link to coilovers for what I bought for my *Clubbie* is already in a post below.
  13. $900 for the set of four. But your challenge and additional cost is going to be on installation. Contrary to their advertising my installer didn't know what they were doing (another story for another place time). However the sway bar might be your first upgrade, that was primary for my Clubman as recommended by other Clubbie owners. I had budgeted for both and didn't have all of the work done until a year after I'd bought my MINI.
  14. I don't do AX either, but die to my driving style my back end kept skipping out. I had the sway bar and coilovers installed the week before I went to MOTD. I needed them here and I REALLY needed them there.
  15. Nope. These are them: http://www.tirerack.com/suspension/suspension.jsp?make=H%26R&model=Street-Perf.+Coil-Over&group=Street-Perf.+Coil-Over&partNum=50457&autoMake=Mini&autoModel=Clubman&autoYear=2011&autoModClar=Cooper+S
  16. I have H&R coilovers and my rears dropped below what's advertised. How much drop are you looking for?
  17. I have the MINIDoMore which the Curt is a reverse-engineered copy of. The only negatives I've actually heard about the Curt is that a) it's a copy and b) the listed capacities are too high, but I haven't heard of a Curt failing within their specs. I didn't care for the MINIFini as I already had a few tow hitch items from previous vehicles and I didn't want to have to get adaptors and what not. BTW, I had a Clubman. I didn't look to see what type of MINI you have. If you search the forum there is a thread or two on this subject including those who have had a tow hitch installed.
