  8. Yup, yup. I vaguely recall there was a 30-day/1K mi delay from the time you start coverage to when it actually applies.
  9. I know you weren't asking me, but I went with Platinum. The upside: it paid for itself within three months. The 2nd repair, I think it was a blown turbo, exceeded the total cost of the warranty. The downside: it paid for itself within three months with a single repair exceeding the total cost of the warranty. Also, when I traded in my '11, I was only 20K miles into the 100K coverage, so I received a prorated refund of the unused portion.
  10. Ah. I did not. Mea culpa. Using TapaTalk and I didn't pay attention to the header, only clicked the alert notification. Thanks for the clarification.
  11. If I get my MINI back from Passport Collision in time (was rear ended at a stop light. I'll get my MINI back tomorrow *or* Monday [emoji53]) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I'm thinking Pure Silver Metallic. Accent Color Code 900. Clubman colors start on page 8. https://www.sherwin-automotive.com/pdf/2011_BMW_/_Mini_Color_Compatibility_Guide_pdf.pdf
  13. Welcome! Hopefully you will have your MINI long enough for the upcoming driving season. One of the first runs is at the end of this month (which *I* personally hope gets snowed out, but that's just me [emoji16]). Again, welcome.
  14. +2 on don't over commit. It's very hard NOT to do once all of the runs open up, but if you book runs back-to-back-to-back you'll end up missing one either because a run returned late, or you were just too worn out to do the last one. I've found it best to sign up to no more than one per day, and follow your nose after that. If there is another run you want to do the same day, just show up, often there is a no-show spot you can take. (IMHO) if you can get a cabin at Fontana, do so.
  15. (IMHO) get it into a dealership/MINI-experienced repair shop asap to determine the exact cause/have the codes read. You wouldn't want to be on the way back and go into limp mode or break down altogether. It could be a long tow ride and at a very inconvenient time.
  16. Yup, yup. I heard you and a few others did. I've just been remiss on contacting him. So slammed at work that I had to negate my weeks vacation over T-day [emoji21]
  17. Try this thread: 2-Way Radio w/Sub Channels http://dcmetrominis.org/forum/topic/2241-2-way-radio-wsub-channels/?do=findComment&comment=27239
  18. I didn't have a tune work done by them, I had suspension work which they botched and then re-charged me to fix. *I* can't recommend them for anything except frustration, aggravation and a waste of money.
  19. Oops. Sorry, I forgot. THANKS SARA & TYLER FOR HOSTING! [emoji16] Wish I could've stayed for MINIS & brew, but it is football season (and the first game started at 9:30A today).
