  1. What happened to the video link? It was there an hour or so ago.
  2. Just a reminder to people that its always a good idea to bring your walkie-talkies.
  3. I had hoped to attend this but according to my schedule I will be in Berlin that day. Bummer.
  4. See you at Starbucks. I live off Braddock Rd.
  5. I see . . .
  6. I don't understand the 'Odo 209.6' on your run sheet; the Skyline Drive is only 105 miles long.
  7. That 'likely route' link is not terribly helpful.
  8. I have the topmost honeycomb grill (that goes in the bonnet) and the black 'whiskers' that mount towards the bottom. I have the slim middle honeycomb grill but it is missing a corner and was modified to fit the standard bumper. I don't have the lowest grill. I also have the license plate plinth. This is still for sale, and I need the $ - my a/c compressor needs replacing, which isn't cheap.
  9. Hi: Years ago I bought a Gen1 aero front bumper skin, new and unpainted, intending to install it on my 2004 MCS. Never got around to it and other priorities have set in. $400.
  10. Been there done that.
  11. Thanks for the various suggestions, but my understanding is that if the refrigerant had leaked out, such as through a ruptured hose, the pressure sensor would prevent the compressor from engaging. As my compressor does engage, I don't think the problem is low or missing refrigerant. I'm still looking for a shop that has experience with Mini a/c but is trustworthy and charges less than the dealers.
  12. Radiator fan fully functional. Idle, full speed, makes no difference; a/c anemic
  13. Anemic. Compressor engages, cabin air fan works, but air that comes out is not very cool.
  14. 2004 MCS, 125K. a/c is anemic, and I have exhausted my diagnostic skills in trying to figure out why. MachV doesn't do a/c work; any suggestions? Hesitant to take it to the dealer. TIA.
  15. Do you mean 'fix it'?
  16. I recall that former DCMM member Mark Matarella had one; perhaps others as well.
  17. Can't wait to hear about curb rash repair options. I have a set of 17" S-lites, without tires, waiting for touch-up.
  18. Things to bring should also include two-way radios, I assume?
  19. I have two torque wrenches, both Sears Craftsman. The older one is a 'beam' style one that ranges to 70 Newton metres, 600 inch pounds. The newer one is a 'dial' or 'click' wrench, that ranges to 210 Newton metres, 150 foot pounds. I bought this newer one specifically for lug nuts.
  20. Look for sales at Sears, or go to Harbor Freight, which has a store in Woodbridge and is opening a new store in Chantilly or Sterling sometime soon.
  21. MachV in Sterling
  22. I hate you. Bad enough that I'm not going this year (4x veteran) but to rub salt in the wound, it's tax day!
  23. I'll take everything in the last two pix, except the touch-up paint.
  24. It is well worth the trip. A mix of classic hot rods, exotics, muscle cars, sports cars of all description, etc.
  25. Very good news . . .
