  1. Fantastic job :top: by all the organizers and grillmasters
  2. I have always covered my auxiliary lights before inspections :top: and have never had any issues
  3. Does anyone have a Bocce Ball set they can bring :questionmark: It was a blast at the last picnic
  4. You all have a great time today :top: I am stuck at the office for a few hours and then over to my parents for a project. I thought I would be able to meet at the finishing line but doesn't look feasible at this point
  5. Hey Dale, It was a great time ! ! Adam did a fabulous job with the run and a few of the roads were quit spirited :motor: The only comment would be the seating at Tavern in Fredericksburg. It would have been 100% better if we could have all sat together. Hanging out after the festivities would have been better if only I had brought along a few beers See ya all soon, Brian
  6. See ya all the Pub in F-burg tomorrow. I am heading out before 6am to meet them at the Pub in Hampton :top: Dale said that the Pub in F-burg would like us there by 5 since we're a large group Good night B.
  7. SOunds like fun but I am going to watch some racing in Frederick, MD. http://www.barbarafritchieclassic.com/
  8. A few of us have showed up with our MINI's. Usually nothing organized. As far as the types of cars that show up, the classics arrived early in the evening, then the modern muscle (camaros, corvettes, mustangs, etc) start arriving and later the imports/etc arrive. Hope everyone has a great 4th no matter what you get into
  9. I was just curious what you all are doing this weekend :questionmark: I am planning on hanging out at the Cruise-In at the Chik-fil-a near the Dulles Town Center on Friday. A friend will be there with his Corvette club and there should be lots of old hotrods, current muscle cars and imports. On Monday I am going to the AMA flat track motorcycle races in Frederick. The qualifying starts at 11 and the racing at 3. Here is the link to the race: http://www.barbarafritchieclassic.com/ I have never been to a AMA flat track event and it should be fun. Hope to see some of you this weekend :top:
  10. Here is the link to the HR Mini thread about the run. http://www.hrmini.com/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,32/topic,4190.msg44868/#new Dale posted the hotel info if anyone is interested in staying overnight :top:
  11. I am planning on heading down on Friday and staying near the Pub Hampton. That way I can do the run with HRMinis to the Pub Fredricksburg. I also plan on staying with them for the evening so I can enjoy a few "beverages" and not worry about driving home until Sunday :top:
  12. When I switched out my rotors I used the Mintex Redbox Brake Pads. The brake dust is almost no existant and the braking seems to be just fine. :top:
  13. I am sure Katie will agree that once is enough for both of us
  14. Sure are a whole lot of MAYBEs! It would probably help the organizers if you all would reply yes or no
  15. SO glad you will be able to make it Stacey I have a BIG hug reserved for you See ya Sunday.
  16. Hey Dan, Any idea when you might be able to post the videos of the dyno runs :questionmark: Thanks Brian
  17. I was surprised by what you 2nd gen guys were getting with a stock MINI My 05 with pulley, exhaust & intake ending up with 192 whp, which I am very please with  I can tell the car pulls harder once I am about 3K :top:
  18. You got my curiousity up so I need to ask, what is the "Boots and Bonnets" feast :questionmark: Looking forward to the run in remembrace of our friend Jaysen Kim aka JustJay
  19. On the 4th run the figures were 190.52 whp and 167.42 torque. Jan said the 5th run was just after it and it was running much warmer. Not being a total engine geek I am not sure why the torque gain wasn't more.
  20. Well my tune is done and I am very pleased with the results  As a comparison to other 1st Gens, I have the 15% pulley, the JCW intake and the JCW exhaust. My baseline run was 179.77 whp and 162.21 torque. After Jan's magic my final totals were 192.08 whp and 163.29 torque. The car now pulls much harder and is pretty smooth :top: Well worth the money.
  21. I have not heard anything different I did talk to Dan earlier this week and we changed my time because Jan has a earlier flight on Saturday. I go in this afternoon for mine
  22. Tune, Tune, Tune  Really looking forward to see what Jan can do with "Gute Fahrt"
  23. I actually spent a few minutes to research and make sure I was correct
