  1. I would not worry about it. It looks like they are pretty busy with registration from his recent posting on Facebook: "WOW..we had 146 registrations so far today, I only got to process 69 so far. Guess I know what I'll be doing tomorrow. (last year we had 41 registrations on day 1)" You should be on the list later today once they get caught up :top:
  2. After registered, I went thru the events listing and decided to sign up for a couple runs. I plan on doing the " Sunrise Drive throught the Smokies" and the "Heinzelmannchen Brewery Tour". I am so ready for the week at the Dragon :top:
  3. I would think that most of the cabins will be quiet except for the ones near Stonehedge aka the fire pit
  4. I have the whole week off but I am not sure when I will be coming down. Need to verify when Quitta is renting the cabin. If I can find sleeping arrangements I am planning on heading down early.
  5. Just curious about what events people might register for? For sure I am going to do the Beer Swap but not sure about any others. I think it would be fun to just do some small runs and not the large organized ones. We should also try and plan on doing some meals as a DCMM group. Love for you all to chime in and post what you would like to do :top:
  6. Just got the newest MOTD 2011 update and registration opens tomorrow, Jan 10th, at 8am  I will be so ready for some Dragon cruisin and hanging out with all them MINI's :top:
  7. It was great seeing my MINIacs friends and meeting some new ones. The food was delicious :top:
  8. There is place over by Mach V's called "Do It Yourself Mechanics". Craig, Marty and I have been there to do various things. I know the owner and it is a very nice setup. Here is the the link http://www.ditymechanics.com/ that shows the rates for the lifts. I have a garage but until I get my kerosene heater working it is not that warm. Once I get a heating solution you can always come over and work on your Mini. See ya soon, Brian
  9. Any update on the menu for January :questionmark:
  10. It was a work night and I was in bed by 9. Now if it had been a weekend I would have been there :top:
  11. You bunch of old farts and you're younger than me
  12. I did not even think about the fact that the TPMS systems are different :banghead:
  13. From what I have seen on prior threads the 1st Gen should work on the newer Mini's. Here is a link addressing wheel fitment. http://dcmetrominis.org/forum/topic/1206-2nd-gen-wheels-on-a-1st-gen-car/ I will post some photo this evening. Like I mention the wheels so have curb rash but they can be touched up and the tires are practically new. I love the Bridgestones but when I bought my new rims it was cheaper just to have new tires mounted and then shipped to me.
  14. I have a set of 17" S-lites with Bridgestone Potenza GO19 that I have thought about selling. They do have some curb rash but the tires are in great shape with low mileage. Looking for about $500 for the set and I am located in Chantilly. I can post some photos later today. They are off a 05 Cooper S.
  15. I meet them last one at the Meet & Greet and it was actually find doing the survey in person :top: They were nice guys to chat with and if you have time, please take the survey
  16. We all had a "blast" yesterday at Blueridge :top: It was fun watching 2 of the attendees that had not shot a 9mm for awhile or never, reacting to the first time they pulled the trigger Looking forward to doing this again  PS Craig
  17. Ready to rumble  All clips are pre-loaded and it is almost time to go MINI MINI Bang Bang
  18. There were about 8 of us there. We were even interviewed by 3 college students doing a project on MINI owners and why we decided to buy one. :top:
  19. A little of topic, but I was curious on how to setup a poll and was reading the FAQS section. It states "To create a poll when you post a new thread, simply click the 'Yes, post a poll with this thread' checkbox at the bottom of the page" but I do not see any checkbox for creating a poll at the bottom. Are admins the only ones that have access or does something need to be change within the forum to allow any member to create a poll? Thanks
  20. Hey Craig, Even though I do not plan on participating in the "turkey shoot",can you actually do it since the rifle side of the range is closed? Looking forward to destroying some target! B.
  21. Thanks for the heads up! :top:
  22. Curious if we have a tally on what was collected for the Wounded Warrior Project :questionmark:
  23. I also want to give a shout out to Dixie Bones for the excellant food they provided for MTTB! :top: Laura made a great decision in chosing them for catering the event
