You're right, legal DC tint isn't much more than factory. I had Cricket in DC for a few years and had my windows tinted 50%, which is legal in VA. I never had an issue in DC. I know it was a risk, but no one ever bothered me about it.

Most wineries in VA don't serve food due to health department regulations. If they do, it's prepackaged cheese/meats, etc. However, most are fine with you bringing your own food.

You can definitely handle this one. Make sure the surface is very clean and free from any waxes. Ali is right, it will be easier if it's warmer, but it can be done in the cold. There are lots of instructions on line. I use the "wet application" method, as I think it's easier. If you're going to be at the Meet and Greet on Saturday, I can talk to you more about it.

I'll be leading a short run to White's Ferry and then to MINI of Sterling. The fun part will be on the MD side, as I don't have time to plan something for the VA side this week. We will meet at 8:30am at Zaglio's Bakery, 19639 Fisher Ave, Poolesville MD. They have coffee and baked goodies and lots of parking. We'll leave about 8:45am. The ferry is $5 one way and $8 round trip. Cash only.
