    I don't know the name of the shop, but there's a mechanic on the corner of 17th and Kalorama NW that has a great reputation. The place looks pretty sketchy, but I've heard lots of good things.

    I've had a couple of people ask about timing of this event. Just to be clear - registration for the car show is between 2pm and 4pm with the show beginning at 4pm. The show ends at 8pm and awards will be given out then. Though, I'm sure you don't have to stay the whole time.
