I've updated the event with the mid-point stop of Rocky Point Creamery http://rockypointcreamery.com/ We'll arrive there around 11:30 (when they open), so it shouldn't be too crowded yet. I'm pushing our departure time back to 10:15 in order to get us there closer to 11:30am. The parking lot IS gravel, but it should be ok for us. I'm doing the final route check this weekend and I'll update if the lot is going to be any issue for anyone. I've been there a few times before and it was fine.

Here's a link to the FAQ page on tint laws in this area: http://dcmetrominis.org/forum/topic/4628-what-are-the-state-laws-regarding-car-window-tint/ Cricket was originally a DC resident, but I wanted tint, so I had it done VA legal (50% all around - I didn't want it darker in the back). I never had an issue with the DC police, but I didn't do anything crazy, either. Now that she's an MD resident, I'd love to get her retinted to 35% all around, but it's expensive (and time consuming) to remove the old tint.

Don't forget, I have a bin full of picnic supplies that are leftover from past picnics and Katie's Spaghetti Dinner. I'm not exactly sure what is in it, but I know there are a TON of paper plates.

Cricket has a CAI and custom exhaust. They never cared, but those didn't effect anything I took her in for.

I use Adams products. Odds and Ends Detailing in Sterling sells them or you can get them online from adamspolishes.com. Adam's website has lots of great information included videos and a forum. Currently my routine is to wash the wheels first. I use the All Purpose Cleaner rather than the wheel cleaner. Then I use the car shampoo in the foam gun and wash with the two-bucket method. After they're clean, I use Detail Spray as I dry the car. Every other wash or so I'll use the H2O Guard and Gloss instead of the Detail Spray. That's just my basic routine. I'll do more if I have time or the cars need it.
