  1. Jim, It was a friendly question. No need to be snappy. I wasn't trying to be smart-ass. I hope someone here can help you, but a tech question like this will probably be easier to answer via NAM. You said you already searched there, but if you didn't find what you wanted, I suggest posting the same question (if you already haven't).
  2. The exact same stuff, right? If so, sign me up! No harm in adding regular air in later, I hope... since my wheels won't have the little green caps on them as a reminder they are filled with nitrogen.
  3. Just curious - you did see this thread, didn't you?
  4. The light pattern for the Xenons is deliberately different between the driver's side and passenger's side, from the factory. The driver's side cuts off lower than the passenger's side. Why? 2 reasons: 1) So the driver's headlight doesn't blind oncoming traffic, nor cars directly in front of you (in their rear view mirror). After all, Xenons are exceedingly bright. 2) So the passenger's headlight can help illuminate road signs at greater distances. While there may indeed have been a problem with your headlights, I have to express concern that you may have actually fixed a problem that wasn't there. Of course, I didn't see it for myself, so I wouldn't really know, would I.
  5. Personally I prefer clings to stickers, because you can apply them on the inside of the window, and easily remove and reapply them.
  6. Per the thread title & calendar entry: 9:30am. Hope you can make it! :top:
  7. Did you end up using the wiring from the cabin light, up in the headliner? That's how my V1 is wired in... although I didn't do it myself (nor is it wired with just the regular V1 hardwiring kit - ever heard of the StealthOne?). I of course haven't posted about this on NAM, since it is a public forum... and RDs aren't exactly legal here in VA, are they.
  8. Yep... pretty much. It's going to be modified again soon too. I'll be happy to break i
  9. Hammerette and I are going. Currently the plan is to drive down on Tuesday. It's really nice getting there early and relaxing a little before the crowd arrives.
  10. Awesome... if I don't get a good answer (for a small mod I want) from the "paint guy" that is associated with the dealer, I may ask you for your input on how feasible it is. It's just painting of a few interior bits...
  11. Interesting - do you work in a body shop?
  12. You should get one with your welcome package when it arrives.
  13. There most certainly will be at least a few DCMM caravans for MOTD (depending on when people want to go). Ashley and I registered this afternoon, so we're going! :itsme:
  14. Thanks again Bill for an excellent run. My only wish is that next time, I'll have Mr. OEM, so I can do it for myself! :ridinghorse:
  15. WOW... OMG... a blast from the past. You'll be competing with Hammerette for the shortest one there, no doubt! :itsme:
  16. Which Wegman's? The one near MoS? (If so... you drive all the way from DC to Sterling to go? Wow)
  17. That reminds me... on the way to work yesterday morning, I spotted VA license plate "MNI PURL" yesterday headed west on I-66. For those of you not familiar, she's a (former?) DCMM member, and has a very rare Silk Green/White 1st Gen Cooper. Was nice to see! I would have tried to wave but I wasn't in my MINI at the time. Heh.
  18. Would you rather me not wait? :handkiss:
  19. Yep, I plan on going! I haven't registered yet because I'm waiting for someone to get here so we can sit and figure out which items we want to do while we're there. Either way, I have an inn room reserved at Fontana.
  20. ...saw a past DCMM President that I haven't seen in a VERY long time post in our new forums, just a minute ago. Great to see you here Mike!
