  1. Today was the first real test with the new filter. There is a 68 mile round trip I do all the time with a combination of back roads and city. There are a couple of long up hill grades that I normally down shift half way up and my computer says 41.3 mpg as the norm. Today I felt no need to down shift and the computer said 44.6. I feel more pep in the throttle and rev needle stays still at idle. I think I'll get one for my wife's SUV. Jim
  2. Is anyone running one of these? I just put one on in and I swear the throttle responce is quicker. I don't think it is just in my head. Engine note is also different. Very cool. Jim
  3. Started last night and finished up this morning. Rear fog, Parrott EVO, new switch cover and toggle. The entire process was not nearly as complex as it seemed reading all the tips posted by others on NAM. I'm sure most of you have already done the same things, but it really was fun. Hardest part was trying figure out how to disconnect the cables. Never seen connectors like those before. Jim
  4. It is cool, but a word of caution from an former cop. Even if you do not have it retracted the fact that it can be is against the traffic code. Be carefull who sees you do that. VA Traffic code says: Place the plates on the front and rear of your vehicle so that they are securely fastened and clearly visible at all times.
  5. I figured it out, so all is well with my world . (I'm not sure about the rest of the world, as I don't keep up with that anymore) . If anyone else has this problem I posted a "How To" over on NAM. Jim
  6. Yes I did. 1) I have standard headlights. 2) I know when they are too low. 3) You have not seen my headlights. If you don't want to answer the question then don't. Jim
  7. My low beans are much too low and from what I have found on NAM, this is common from the factory. Everything I read there said that the adjustment is on the rear of the head light housing. I have a 2009 and the headlights are part of the frame. I have searched high and low and can find nothing that looks like the adjuster. On the inside of the wheel well there are two black screws on each side of the removable access disk, however there is another just like them much lower down, so I am guessing they must hold something on. Any one know where the low beam adjustment actually is? Jim
  8. When saw you all meet at Towson Mini from time to time I signed up, as that is where I bought "Fogie". First Question: I have a full roof graphic from Mike at AC. Before I attempt this myself is there anyplace that really knows how to put one of these one in the area? Jim
