  1. Man, just watched that video... I gotta go play that sometime!!! WOW
  2. Hmm, interesting, I didn't look at the earlier pics. Yeah, but considering the tail lights as Edge points out, it seems that this MINI was rear-ended and the body shop put in tail lights from an '05....
  3. First, I can't believe that's a screen shot from the game, it looks so real!! But, I hate to burst some bubbles, but that's not an '05 MCS, it's an '04 or earlier, meaning it doesn't have the Getrag tranny - sorry for nit pickin
  4. More than likely, I won't be able to make it this year, but if things change and I can make it, I'll let you guy's know, because, like last year, I'll probably be last minute trying to find a place to stay!
  5. Interesting. How much did this little mod cost?
  6. The other possibility is to get a roof rack and put the spare up there for a more "rally" look. Aerodynamics and sunroof performance may vary
  7. Nice offer, but rrsperry might have you beat: Awfully tempting, but it would be a ways for me :motor: Chris, can you bring the hot chocolate to rrsperry's place?
  8. Does anyone have a garage or know of a place to work on the car during these cold Winter months? I have a possible project, but it's just too cold to do it outside in the parking lot!
  9. Happy New Year 2011!!!!! Happy Motoring 2011!!!!!
  10. That was fun, nice to see you guys again! After my hiatus from MINI activities.
  11. Are you bringing wheel cleaning stuff/brushes?
  12. Sounds like you need a Passenger's seat :laugh::laugh:
  13. That looks nice! I'm also interested in new speakers, I've got to confirm a few things about the R53 first though.
  14. I'm not totally familiar with how the Heater works in the MINI, but you might want to ask them to check the coolant flow to the heater core. Just a thought.
  15. I like snow and driving in it, I've driven rear-wheel drive, front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive in the snow and it's always a blast!
  16. After seeing the Countryman, sitting in it and getting some time to poke around it, I must admit, I like it, for slightly different reasons - but I'll say this now, MINI BETTER NOT CREATE ANY LARGER VEHICLES :laugh::laugh:
  17. I don't have Winter tires... maybe I'll get some, or maybe I can find a substitution.... maybe a Countryman? Maybe a Countryman with ALL4.....  A Countryman with ALL4 AND Winter tires.... (No, we're not buying a Countryman) - I just thought this post would be funny
  18. What color are you going to paint them? Black? How about Hot Orange!! :top:
  19. You could start a poll, wouldn't that be easier?
  20. Looks good, where did you get your graphic done?
  21. I went over to MoA today and got a sneak peek at the Countryman I'm looking forward to hearing others' opinions!!
  22. AWESOME - I'm looking forward to seeing Tigger with the new wheels. As for your old ones, I thought you had the Web Spokes, not the S-Lites, at least that's what your signature pic indicates.
  23. I don't have any recent photos handy, but I did update my avatar/profile pics. :top:
  24. That's very good advice for those of us with the boosted engine. The higher pressures force oil through the PCV/EGR valve which ends up in the intake system and intercooler. This can cause oil level to drop especially if you're "gettin' on it" all the time. This is the reason so many vendors started selling oil catch cans.
  25. 1. Vehicle type: 2006 R53 2. Mushrooming, torn strut mounts, or both: Mild mushrooming only 3. Wheels/tires (e.g., 17" run flats): 17" run flat 4. Any preventive measures (e.g., strut tower plates, braces, or camber plates - please describe make/model): Ireland Engineering Fixed camber plates in conjunction with DINAN front strut tower brace, and keep an eagle eye open for pot holes. 5. Have your preventive measures been successful in preventing mushrooming or damaged towers? Mushrooming was never very bad for me, but I haven't seen any signs since having the camber plates installed.
