  1. Seeing that this is his ONLY post and it's been almost two years ago, I doubt it's going anywhere.
  2. Just a note - I've heard from several vendors including MINI that you shouldn't use the Fix a' Flat kits that require filling the tire with foam. It gums up the TPMS sensors and they'll have to be replaced, and they're expensive. You may want to verify this with MINI though.
  3. 4th celebration at DaMoim, Saturday night, with DJ John K!! That's where I plan to be
  4. Not sure yet, but that sounds fun
  5. Now I just need to identify the correct part numbers for the Hawk Ceramics for the 2006 JCW Brakes. So far, research suggests these: Front: HB560Z.677 Back: HB445Z.610 Any confirmation?
  6. Sounds like the Hawks are the ticket!
  7. I'm tired of dirty wheels!!! So, I think it's time to get some different brake pads to reduce the dirty wheel issue. Any suggestions?
  8. REALLY!? That's a nice change of plans!
  9. Thanks everyone that came out tonight! I hope everyone enjoyed the restaurant and the food. Thanks also for the surprise Birthday cake! :top::top::top::top:
  10. Just replaced Air Filter for DINAN CAI. Part Number: K & N Universal RU-1480 half the price of the DINAN filter! Cleaning Instructions
  11. Well, I just started this thread with this title thinking it could be used by others as a place to "jot down" little MINI factoids for prosperity's sake and easy future reference... I'll go first. (Maybe this should be a separate forum?)
  12. Hey to the Maybes, can you update your RSVP to confirm!? I'd like to get the reservation made, I probably can wait until tomorrow morning to do it, but don't want to wait too long. Thanks!
  13. A lot of times, I think that when we say "butt dyno", it is really the "ear dyno", for instance, opening the intake on the R53 gives you more supercharger "whine", but doesn't necessarily equate to a large (or any) power improvement. The sound of the whine adds to the sensation though and kind of tricks you into thinking you're accelerating faster. (Just an example)
  14. I'm the same way, the only time I have a name brand is if it is directly on the mod itself. But, I try not to show favoritism.
  15. Such a good looking MINI, wish I had a garage and some spare money!
  16. We've been there a few times, I know Katie is familiar with it. That's a strong candidate for the MD side of DC. Good call!
  17. You said Brian, but you quoted me
  18. actually, I just thought of another, this has been a big help to the first gen folks> Ian Cull Auto-Up Circuit. It allows one-touch operation for putting the windows up as well as a few other features that some people might like.
  19. ...or, you can keep it bone stock, which is tough to do in this mod crazy group. Keeping it bone stock is almost a mod all to itself! If you're after large horsepower numbers, there are stickers that help.. J/K
  20. I like Edge's RSVP comment - funny!
  21. Hmmm, I don't think I can swing either unfortunately! Would you settle for good atmosphere?
  22. Ali, I'm not sure this place does that actually, I haven't had the BBQ there, only some of the other stuff, all of which was delicious. Truth be told, I know the owner's and we have some mutual friends. :top:
  23. Has the restaurant been contacted yet? UPDATE: I did.
  24. Any ideas on mounting stuff to the headliner that won't require too much destruction, such as large holes, glue.. etc.?
