  1. $700-FIRM-CASH ONLY PLEASE Like new, Megan Racing Euro II Coilovers for 07-13 MINI Cooper. Adjustable spring preload, dampening/rebound (32 settings), & ride height. Complete with spanner wrenches & dampner extensions. Driven about 4000 miles. These are in excellent shape and I really enjoyed them, however I'm planning to upgrade to something new so they need to go. They are currently on my car, but will be removed soon and will be driven very minimally until removed as my car is not a daily driver. I plan to remove them the first part of May. Message me here, or on my cell with a text: 301-651-1656 -STEVE Product details from Megan Racing: Megan Racing Coil-Over Dampers are the ultimate upgrade to your track or street car. Featuring 32 levels of damper force adjustment, separate spring perch height and shock length adjustment allowing you to retain full suspension stroke and to fine tune your suspension characteristics. These damper kits are then perfectly matched with front and rear Pillow Ball upper mounts, including camber plates integrated with the upper Pillow Ball mounts on strut-type suspension applications. Compression and rebound settings are easily adjusted through a single damper adjustment knob which is built-in at the top of the damper mount for easy access. Adjustments are simple to tune according to your style of driving and desired comfort level whether you are a professional certified mechanic or an automotive enthusiast with amateur mechanical skills. All of our dampers are capable of handling a +2kg/mm or -2kg/mm change in spring rates to further tune your suspension to your desired handling characteristics. Height adjustments are made with separate CNC-Machined locking spring perches for accuracy and smooth adjustment with separate damper shock length adjustment to retain full-stroke and allows for precision suspension tuning. The wide range of allowable ride-height adjustment allows for a conservative drop to more aggressive ride heights for an aggressive stance, or to fine tune your suspension for the circuit to gain full potential of your vehicle's handling capabilities. On applications utilizing strut-type suspension designs, the Megan Racing Damper Kits come with fully adjustable Pillow-Ball upper mount camber plates to easily tune and adjust your camber, giving you a competitive edge over other suspension setups. This allows you to tune your car for any ride height and still adjust camber to improve handling, vehicle predictability and tire wear, which is a great benefit both on the race-track and on the street. The quality and durability of the Megan Racing Damper kits are unmatched. Made of extremely durable Steel and featuring springs that are constructed of SAE-9254 Cold-Wound Steel which are then tested over 500,000 times by compression inspection. With deformation less than 5% and high strength sophisticated surface coating, we stand by our product with our strong warranty. 6. I'm in the process of a front brake upgrade to my 2009 R56. I'm selling LEFT and RIGHT front calipers, pads and rotors. These will fit any 2007 to 2014 R55, R56 or R57 with no modification. These were also used on the 2002 to 2006 MINI Coopers as the upgraded JCW brakes. Would make a great upgrade to any R53! The Calipers have roughly 55,555 miles on them, and the pads and rotors have less than 20,000. Everything is in perfect working order and will be removed by mid March and ready to go to a new home. Can include brake lines if interested. $300 for everything. Local pick up only. Contact me here with a PM, or on my cell via text if interested. 301-651-1656. -STEVE
  7. Hey gang. While jacking up the car in the garage, the jack tipped over and gouged my lower panel on the drivers side. Do we have a paint vendor that fixes this sort of thing? Looking for recommendations. I’ve already got one estimate for a place in Sterling that was highly regarded. I already have on order the black trim that goes below the painted panel. Any help is appreciated! -Steve
  8. looks like they are planning a reschedule. Stay tuned.
  9. I'm now a maybe. Keeping an eye on the weather.
  10. Thanks to all for putting this together and making it happen! And a BIG thanks to Devon for leading the pre-ride! I really appreciate your efforts with putting together runs this year. It's been a blast!
  11. The 14th work better for me. Or another date after if others want to go first, I don't mind being scheduled separate.
  12. Legit question here. Will they provide or have any kind of visual for the before and after. I've seen where people post a before and after photo. I know it's kind of a tough area to view/work in, so not sure if this is plausible. I'd just like to see what kind of build up there is and what the cleaning removes. This will not in any way change my mind about the service, I'd just like to see the end result to know it took care of the build up. Thanks!
  13. It used to be Freddy, but he has recently left PTUNING. In general, anyone who answers the phone, however Mike the manager is a MINI owner and is very knowledgeable.
  14. The 4 wheel alignment at PTUNING was $135. Club discount of 10% was applied to that. I did adjust the front a bit before the alignment, dropped it a .25".
  15. Here are some pictures after getting an alignment at PTUNING on Monday. I'm in the process of fine tuning the dampening, but am really happy with the ride height and smaller fender gap. What's interesting is how smooth it is on the highway at speeds above 60. Slower speeds are a bit more jittery, but I can adjust that with the dampening and find that sweet spot.
  16. Just wanted to give a HUGE thank you and shout out to Corey Brown! I asked on the forum here about installing some coilers and Corey offered to assist. He was gracious enough to drive an hour each way and was immensely patient and showed me the ropes. Corey's attention to detail and knowledge really put me at ease and I really enjoyed the process. His act of kindness is one of the reasons I joined the MINI community and one of the best parts about this club! Good people coming together with a love for all things MINI. Thanks Corey, and his wife Brandy for loaning him out for his services! -STEVE
  17. INTERESTED! Not sure I'm due for it just yet tho. I believe my car had it at about 32,000, and I'm at 52,000 now.
  18. Corey. I will also be getting the H-Sport adjustable rear control arms. https://www.waymotorworks.com/h-sport-rear-camber-links.html Do you recommend getting adjustable sway bar end links for the front as well? https://www.waymotorworks.com/wmw-adjustable-swaybar-endlinks.html I have a garage, couple of jack stands and a torque wrench, but otherwise I'm lacking a bit in the tools department. Let me know what you would need from me for your services? Once I've sourced all of the necessary parts, I'd be looking to do this by April at the latest. Thanks! -STEVE
  19. Hey gang. Does anyone in the club have skills with coilover installation on a MINI Cooper R56 S? I'm purchasing a set of Megan Racing Euro Street 2's and wanted to know if anyone has done coilovers on their MINI. It seems like a reasonable job for DIY, but I don't have the knowledge or tools to pull it off on my own. After install I would take it to get a proper alignment. Any insight is appreciated. -STEVE
  20. Is Darryl at Odds and Ends still an official vendor? I have a few scratches I'd like to get removed. Thanks!
