  1. I missed the "not", I was confused how an event with the smartcar was taking priority over twisties in the lotus. Sorry you hear about the car trouble.
  2. If you are a maybe and can solidify you RSVP, it would make it easier to know if I have everyone in the morning. Thanks.
  3. All we are a go for tomorrow. it will be a little chilly in the morning, but thats why heater seat are an option. It will be clear and not signs of rain or white stuff. We plan on stepping off as close to as possible. Please grab you gas and coffee before reaching the starting point as there is not an easy gas station off the triangle exit. I will have copies of the route sheet, and a coupkle spare radios. please remember to put yours on the charger tonight if you have them. I am looking for a volunteer to be the sweeper? If not I will just volun-tell someone in the morning. My cell is 910-650-9376, if you are running a few minutes late and we may hold up for you. Look forward to seeing everyone in the moring.:top:
  4. it is on like donkey kong, come on out:motor:
  5. Tia, Thanks or posting the link very cool, follow on question for you, you say your interested in the chrono gauge, do you currently have the chrono package? Reading what they are doing, it is a one for one swap. If you have a standard center cluster then a chrono gauge is not a simple plug and play switch.
  6. Thank you for sharing. I look forward to following along
  7. I am pretty sure you get partial credit for my quick lap, since I think it was after following your tire tracks. Also Duane's time was still fastest, the guy in first place was in a super kart (i.e. the SK). so 9hp as opposed to the 6.5 we had
  8. Had a great time today, nice seeing everyone. Check it out DCMM (and Dwayne) have 6 of the top ten laps of the day.
  9. I heard you were shaving your body hair and wearing a speedo, to shave half a second off our lap times.
  10. First of its Corey, one of these days Ali will get it right. Second, I can PD anything and everything looks better with PD.
  11. Please post the link. I know converting to a factory chrono gauge requires modifying the wiring harness and reprogramming the ECU.
  12. I have always been a fan of the euro stripe, with the number meatball on it. Also drawing in the thrid color, Brandy's ebony had a gun metal grey as the larger primary stripe and the orange was the accent pin stripe the first time I did it. Then Ali took brandy to the darkside (orangeside).
  13. That is why I like black or dark grey base, everything pops off of it.
  14. When you or brandy say orange all I hear is background noise.
  15. I like the stripe idea. Also a pattern is unique. I agree with Tyler the Orange would give it a retro 70s gulf racing feel. I may have some orange PD if you want to give it a trial run.
  16. we should be at the winery between 1100 and 1130.
  17. I may have a garage depending on when we would be looking at doing this, just need to get moving on some projects. :banghead:
  18. Dan brought up still doing lunch. Is there an interest in meeting for lunch. If so nominate a location please
  19. All, Unfortunately I am sliding the Run to the right. Due to the predicted high gusting winds and likely patchy ice on the secondary and tertiary roads that make up the route the risk reaches a level of risk I do not feel comfortable exposing the group to. I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. I am not cancelling the run, just rescheduling!!! The weekend of Feb 28 looks clear on the event calendar, and the extended weather report say it will be in the high 50’s. I feel this will allow all too truly enjoy this route, and each other’s company. I am posting this on the forum and also PMing all that have RSVP’d yes or maybe. If you can respond confirming the change so I know no one is going to arrive in the morning. I will likely be there just to be safe. Thanks, Corey and Watson
  20. The windchill will make it feel like -5 at the start. Ali you still willing to go topless.
  21. I want to pull the group for there option. I just checked the weather for tomorrow. It will be 10 degrees at the start time, no precipitation, but sustained winds of 30 mph with gusts to 50 mph. There is also the possibility of patches on ice on these road from the precipitation this evening. Do we want to still go in the morning or slide it a to the right. The go-kart outing is next weekend, but one of the following to days. I want to make the call by 5pm today as I know people likely have plans tonight.
  22. I am keeping an eye on the weather and will keep everyone informed. I am also concerned if there is a decent amount of rain Saturday with freeze temps all day Sunday. Fingers crossed.
