  1. And if you mention that you found the link in this thread Ali will pay 10% of the purchase price.
  2. Wish we could make it but we have to seem interested in our kids stuff that day
  3. Sounds fun but I am out of town. I would love to bring the pup but he is a bit of a turd.
  4. I like kohl's it definitely covers the spectrum of car people: ricers, exotic, classic muscle, you name it you will likely see an example of it there.
  5. Old people forget, and send the same response 10 minutes later.
  6. I know they warp in shipping and storage sometimes. With some warm sunny days now you may want to set it on your roof in place for a few hours and see if it relaxes into the shape of your roof for a better fit. Just a thought.:top:
  7. Sounds like fun, but we are out of town this weekend. I will definitely be swing out there now that the weather is nicer.
  8. Uncomfortable is ok, it helps you know your limits. Just have a safe word, mine is Harry Styles.
  9. Bonnet, front quarters, pretty much any body panels front the door jams forward. To include the firewall. I can send you picks of anything you want to see or you can come look through the pile
  10. I really like the white wheel. They go great with the car.
  11. Selling the doors. They are usable with a little TLC.
  12. Now that spring finally has broken through, it is time to dive into my classic trailer project. Mainly to open up Brandy's side of the garage and get back in her good graces. So I had free time today and a cutting wheel, so I decided to see where the day would led me This is how the day started, safety first had to cover watson because the sparks are about to start flying. Hood, front quarter panels, and front facia, removed. We have separation!!! no turning back now. You think I could sell Brandy on a sweet new loveseat? The scrap pile, any craft artsy people out there, interested in something just let me know, making a scrap run friday. More to follow in the near future.
  13. Sweet:rock: It looked like a good deal, and glad I will get a good home. You are now required to post at least before and after shots, if not photos of the process. It looks like the same side skirts Ali has on Tiggr
  14. There is a painter in the club now...stokedagain is his screen name:top:
  15. On my random Craiglist searching, I came across this gen 1 body kit. I figured I would share for any Gen 1 guys out there.:top: http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/pts/4949489852.html
  16. So to clarify you want to replace the rotors, pads, and calipers? Ali is right, rich said his place is always open and he has a lift if I remember right. That would make life easier for sure. Try sending him a private massage. I have a hand pump brake bleeder, and the cube for the rear caliper (it sucks to use). You can borrow the good caliper tool with the dogs from autozone. You shouldn't need the caliper tool if you are replacing them though. If you can't use rich's sweet setup. I can always lend a hand for some driveway wrenching.
  17. Dan, How much time did the first corner take and how much time will you be able to knock off with lessons learned. Are you replacing with coil over kit or just the springs.
  18. I do laugh at dealer prices, often the same OEM parts are 50% cheaper through rockauto or other online source. Point on the bear where they touched you.
  19. You forgot to mention it is from MINI's 50 shades of grey collection. Lol
  20. Jeremy, Roof rack looks great:top:, it on the list of things to add to the wifey's MINI. I have always through they look good.
  21. See all the work people have been doing, made me get my but in gear. Since it was a nice warm day I decided to install the A-panel wrap, bandy won in the MTTB raffle (donated by Itchy Pig) Started by cleaning the MINI and Clay Barring the A-panel. To get a clean look with no visible edges I removed the scuddle, beltline, and fender flare from the panel. Dry fitted the vinyl and rough trimmed to the panel I used the wet application method (special thanks to Laura for the tips). Trimmed the excess and this is the final result. The wind kicked up as I was finishing the drivers side, so hope to get the passenger side done tomorrow.
  22. Thanks all. It's not me though the kiddies have it.
  23. What do you mean by suspension stuff. Sway bar, springs, coil cover kit, etc. just so we can have an idea of the effort and additional tool required for the job.
