  1. I need to call and try to lock on a room today, I saw they were releasing non-renewed placed on the 19th
  2. Is it caught in between the two sliders or between the seat base and the floor
  3. We also may want to reach out to C3M and include them. I will be at their quarterly M&G tomorrow if you would like me to bring it up to John just let me know.
  4. I would be interested, not a bad idea to have done. Just passed 40k and my driving style may promote blow-by. I plan on installing a catch can afterwards to help prevent future buildup
  5. I would say it is MINI's ultimate factory performance MINI. Since the are a limited run the engineers do not have to consider parts that can me sourced on a scale capable to supporting mass production. Also the engineers are focus solely on performance, not weigh them again comfort, wear, etc... that a car produced for a large market have to consider. This results in things like the rear seat delete, tying the rear struts together with a bar through what would be storage pace. So from a solely performance stand point it is the ultimate factory MINI, but not as a daily driver. Thats just my opinion, so it along with a dollar will get you a cup of coffee.

  14. Brandy and I are heading out Wednesday after work and headed as far as chirstiansburg,VA. Then an early start Thursday to be in Fontana by mid morning
  15. I bet they do fit because the Carbon edition has JCW tips on it, but it is still the S exhaust. Need a better view of how the attach. does @wyretrip has JCW tips?
  16. The local pick-a-parts might be a good place.
  17. The Countryman projects continue: today I switch out the stock rotors and pads for EBC performance rotors and red stuff pads. Fun fact for anyone looking to tackle this project on a countryman or guessing Gen3s, the project is very easy but BMW/MINI has made it that you almost every form of fastener possible. There are standard metric hex bolts for the caliper guides (you also need narrow open wrenches to fit the backside) and FRONT caliper carriage, metric allen head screws holding the rotors, but just to be crazy the rear carriage bolts are echo heads (female torx). Now to get them fulling bedded before the dragon.
  18. No worries, thank you for the heads up

  21. Hey all, We are now less than 24 hours out from the start of the cherry blossom run. If you are a maybe on the RSVP, I ask that you please update your status if you know if you are coming. There are some blossoms out so we will not see just sticks. I will post the route sheets after work, along with a link to the google maps route. I used google maps for the first time on the test run and it worked well. I will have several had copies of the route sheets at the driver's meeting. Put those radios on the charges if you have them, I will bring a few spares. please let me know if you have any questions. See everyone bright and early.
  22. I can jack stand it of you, and have stands if mark doesn't have one for each corner. It is a bit unsettling the first time you jack up a MINI. The combination of the short wheelbase and stiff uni-body means when you jack up one corner the whole side lifts up. You can see in the one photo I still always lay the tire under the car when it is off, as and extra safety to catch the car it a jack stand was to slip.
