Good time and turnout today. Got our new DCMM IDs, not a new member (green) anymore. Even though I like the BRG new member IDs.

I am enjoying everyone's excitement... but I'm still longing to attend. Yes, I too am hoping to attend in 2014, No I am planning on it. I'll just have to settle for MINIs On Top in NH at the end of June, just like we did with MTTS last July. Everyone keep it up since I am learning a LOT.

You guys know that I'm very jealous, since I cannot attend this year.

I discussed MINIs On Top (MOT 2013) at the Post Holiday Party and many have heard of it but no one seems to have attended. Since I cannot make MOTD 2013 at the beginning of May I am hoping to attend MOT 2013 in NH instead. I hadn't heard of the Dealer Poker Run. Sounds like a fun time. :rock: My wife has just noticed that I am including a stop at any local MINI dealerships in my travels. There was Princeton MINI during Thanksgiving travels and I have been visiting the 4-5 Bay area dealerships during my travels out to SF and Palo Alto. I have a few others planned north of Baltimore during my trips up the NY and NJ. And yes, I have been picking up the required dealer key chain from each dealership. My key chains are starting to weight down Ernie though.

I caught up with 2 other BRGs this morning on the American Legion Bridge (Outer Loop into VA). One turned off onto the GW Parkway and then I joined another on the Dulles Toll Road (west bound) before the toll plaza. THEN there was another on Sunrise Valley. 5 BRGs (including Ernie) in 15 minutes? What are the odds. I didn't recognize any of them and the VA state troopers don't look kindly on tagging while in motion. :embarassed:

It was really fun today with all the MINIacs on the Beltway. The WTOP call outs over the hour (4 or 5 times) just added to it. A great run people! Thank you to the organizers and all the Veterans in attendance (a good number) and all the Veterans out there. :congrats: Does anyone know the total number of cars on the loop around today?
