It's time to cut the apron strings on my GoPro Hero HD and I've got some "gadgets" that make it more appealing for it's new owner. The camera is in like new condition, never been used outside of a GoPro case. I have the following bits and pieces to go with it: 16GB memory card LCD BacPac (with case back) Battery BacPac (with case back) Suction cup mount Curved and Flat adhesive mounts A handful of extensions and parts for the mounts Wrist mount Head/Helment mount USB cable I'll include a Wi-Fi remote if you like. You'll need to purchase the WiFi BacPac (about $60) and then you can control the camera from your smartphone or tablet - or the wireless remote.

Sorry it's taken so long - Flickr was giving me a rough time. Here are some of the shots that I took.

Mike - I'll take it! I was just going to go in search for one of these.

That would be funny if we'd gone there for lunch afterward! Almost 4 years ago to the day, that's where Lona and I met on our first date!:top:

Welcome Joe! We hope to meet both of you at an event before you head off to my birthplace! What are you gonna be doing down there in the "Big Easy"?

And some of us bring other beverages. I like to take Ginger beer, Root Beer and different creme soda's. Those can be VERY popular!

Weird squeaking noise after doing new suspension

Theoretically, it wouldn't matter which dealership you went to, they'd all have the same corporate policy but, as you've just shown, personalities are involved and that can/does change the results for the customer. In the end though, I'm really glad that PMoA is coming through for you on this so you can get back on the road safely. As an "oh by the way" on codes and all - there are several of us around that have code scanners so that's always a resource. I know mine is always in the car so if anyone needs a check of codes or to have their ECU reset, it only takes a minute or two. And, finally, I totally agree with you on Mach V and I'm really glad that we've gotten a new vendor agreement with them so we can keep them onboard as an official DCMM vendor. -
I'm just glad that I was there to document Melissa's trip to the "Sin Bin"!

Sorry I didn't address coming by for me to "listen" to it. I'd be glad to give it a try but as many know, my hearing isn't all that good. I've got a "clunking" noise that I can't find so I've been getting Lona to listen (she's got hearing that's like ESP it's so good) for it so I can find it. -
Sorry for the delay everyone, it's been kind of hectic. But, no more excuses! Here's the "pick of the litter" for photo's. It seems to work best if you do the slideshow. Feel free do download any that you like!

It's usually been one of the sway bar bushings getting dry but just to be sure, it would be a good idea to take a look at the front end to make sure it's not the A/C lines. That would be an expensive "oops". -
It looked to us like everyone out there had a really, really good time! Thanks for putting this event together!

It'll require the MINI cross bars but I we can also get that taken care of for you. These racks will fit one bike each.

Hey everyone! This looks like it's really going to be a bucket of fun. I'm planning on being there to get some photo's of everyone but I would also like to get video as I mentioned earlier. I'm going to have a total of 3 GoPro cameras and I'd like to find anyone that's willing to take them along on their ride. There's a catch though (isn't there always a catch?). I have several types of mounts that include the adhesive pads, a roll bar mount, a chest strap, a head strap and last weekend, I manufactured a "reverse" mount that will attach to a helmet so the camera is looking back at the driver's face! If you are taking your own helmet and wouldn't mind putting an adhesive mount on (it will come off afterward if you want to get rid of it) and you don't mind being on "Very Candid Camera", please let me know. I'll also bring a variety of hardware to help anyone elset that might be trying to mount a camera. I will of course be doing still photography as well.

Lona and I will be at karting and the dinner too. Even more room and if there's enough food, we'll take the truck so we can deliver it.
-
If anyone has any music suggestions (or preferences), let me know. The music makes the video!

We are planning on being there but not to drive, we'll be running the camera(s). I'm already planning the set up for the GoPro's too!

Welcome Jonathan! We look forward to seeing you and Oliver at an event soon.

That new silicon intake tube will be a nice fit under the hood. I was really surprised at the way the inside of the OEM part came apart like that. We found two pieces, one of which had obviously been "chewed on" by the vanes of the turbo and the other piece was almost 1/2 of the entire part. The bicycle tube (cut down and wrapped around the turbo inlet flange) increased the diameter enough that we could clamp the air inlet back onto it. Nanite forgot to mention the 20+ minutes we spent finding and retrieving the bolt that was dropped... The up side is that he now knows how to remove the oil filter, diverter valve, coolant tank and a a few other items.

I think they are.

I'm sure everyone knows that the heat in the car comes from the engine coolant. Cold engine/coolant = no heat. In the morning - or even this afternoon, warm the car up with the heater turned OFF. Give it 5-10 minutes and then turn the heater on. If you still don't get any heat, try turning the front windscreen defrost on. It actually uses the A/C system to give you warm air to defrost the windscreen. That'll help warm it up inside the car a little. When warmed up, the MINI runs a bit warmer than any other car I've owned (normal coolant temp runs between 214-218 degrees for the MINI from what I've seen) and they have very, very efficient cooling systems. If you run your heat at full blast while warming the car up, you added another radiator to the cooling system and that cold air inside the car was being pushed through the heater core (located in the center stack, just above the floor board) and helping keep the coolant cool/cold. Now, if Lola warmed up for 20 minutes before driving and the heater was still blowing cold air, it would be worth hitting the service center as it sounds like the heater controls aren't sending the warmed up coolant to the heater core. Just a reminder for everyone. Leaving a vehicle running while unattended is an open invitation to car thieves. During the winter months, this is a pretty common event as thieves are out there just waiting for someone to start their car up and run back into the house while it warms up.

Wooo Hooo - just checked the RSVP list and this party is growing like wildfire! As you arrive, please feel free to park anywhere along Portsmouth or Lindsay St. If you arrive early and plan on staying late, feel free to pull up into the driveway. Heck, if you behave (i.e., not spinning tires and all), park in the grass alongside the driveway. Lona has already let the neighbors know that we are expecting lots of cars/people over this afternoon and evening. We are going to have a little over 20 seats/chairs, lots of table/counter space and the garage will be warmed up so we'll have the "milling around room" as well. If you have a chair that you'd like to bring along, they'll be welcome. If you need power for crockpots or anything, we've got a couple of extension cords ready to go and we do have an 8qt crockpot that is still empty and can be used if anyone needs it. Looking forward to a great evening with everyone!
