Members! We would love to have a few more people step up to lead runs this year,
Of the 100+ members last season, only 5 non Board members led runs

If you're interested in leading a run, the calendar is wide open! Choose your date and let us know if you need help with the planning. (If someone has chosen the month that you'd like to volunteer for, no problem, we can have multiple events in the same month)

 

We'd like to once again thank @Widdie @Brandy_Brown @GreenCactus @MINIFIED & @Egadd for helping to fill out our 2024 calendar, we appreciate you!

Brandy will due the Ice cream run in August (exact date to TBD), but will be the end of the month.

 

I will look at my calendar and schedule a summer HSB also

I could try a HSB in April.  I haven't led a run, but willing to give it a shot.  Also, Monica and I are heading to MOTM (Mini's on the Mack) July/August.  Our plan is to hit all the Great Lakes on the way...could certainly make it a run if a few folks wanna tag along.

 That is going to be a fun trip, As for the HSB. They are great first runs to lead, and I am happy to help you plan it. I will shoot you a private message to discuss further

You're going to have a great time at MOTM, beautiful country up there and a well planned event.

I was thinking of going to Barrel Oak winery and brewery for the April HSB.  It looks like there are some previous runs that ended there. 

 

I'm looking at the weekend after Easter, either Saturday 26th or Sunday 27th.  Does it matter Sat/Sun, is there a club preference?

That sounds great. The dates are completely up to the drive leader, we do both Saturday and Sunday runs. Not sure if Corey will be here on Sunday the 27th however (Hopefully he'll weigh in) due to his responsibilities with MINIs On The Dragon which starts April 29th. If he's not, I'll make myself available to help with your first run if needed, I'm not leaving for MOTD until Monday.

We're looking for someone to lead a Hop, Skip, & Brew in March

 

PROS: Short run, you pick the date, we'll help you with set up, someone will help while on the run, you'll be known as "Capn' Fun" from now on

Has the April 12th HSB been canceled?  The above link to Barrel Oak Winery/Brewery is a dead link.  The April newsletter listed a different HSB destination, Wilderness Winery, for the same date, but that link is also dead.

@donemcclure Do you still plan to do the run on Saturday?

Note: When I click the card for the HSB to to Wilderness Winery run, in the April newsletter it works for me. Because you are not a current Club member you won't be able to access the link. But if you'd like to go, just let Don know, unless he plans to cancel the run.

 

The Barrel Oak Winery run was switched to Wilderness Winery back in mid march but I did forget to update it above, thanks for the catch!

 ALL: We've struggled the last few runs with participation, if you have feed back to share please let us know what we need to change so that we are better able to serve the club going forward. (Our thinking is that the runs may have been a bit further out, or maybe it's been this awful spring weather)!

I tried one last SM post last evening but didn't see any responses, I'll make a post that it's cancelled. Thanks for setting it up @donemcclure. This weather is annoying!

@Atomic Monkey memberships last till Dec 31, they get discounted throughout the year since there is less time that you are getting. There is a 31 day grace period till Jan 31 for renewals.

***That being said, I am looking for a volunteer to do a May OPEN run. I'll be leading the May HSB on Saturday the 17th, but the calendar is wide open other then that date. Please let us know if you'd like to do the OPEN run in May
