And this is why we pre-run, some stuff has changed in three years. A few small tweaks but the second leg is good. I likely rerun this first leg tomorrow as it required a decent reroute do to 1) stupid McMansions having massive speed bumps installed every half mile on a section of one of the best twisters I found, 2) an unmarked gravel road. Hey all, I was wondering what runs everyone was thinking of doing. Also any suggestions on any should be first time time events. Also I have attached a more visual representation of the events scheduled, for me it just makes it a bit easier to see what overlaps. The time line is color coded to easily identify moderate, spirted, or unspecified pace, performance/testing, and non-driving events. I agree if swapping in an OEM radio it would not be a big deal. You do have to take out a large portion of the dash, but it is not difficult. I told it out of Brandy's 09 clubby. gen2s are getting old enough that you can find them in parts yards now, and a few of MINIs being parted out on craigslist. i would check those places for a good priced replacement.

Score of the day pair of front lower air duct inserts and lower rear accents for gen 2 S or JCW. Great for someone looking to do an accent color like the red on the JCW. Scuff and paint these and you would have to cross you toes as you remove your hoping not to break a clip.

on a gen2 like yours it has to be ordered by the dealer from MINI USA in New Jersey. It will work as soon as it arrives to start and unlock your car. If you have comfort access is when the local dealer has to put it on the computer to sync your car and fob and it will cost you an hour in labor on top of the fob price. We went through this on Brandy's countryman as it only had one key when we bought it, no cost just the hassle. I thing the coded fob is between 200 and 250 and if comfort access add an additional 125 bucks. Sorry for the crappy anser

Keystone Colorado has already double and tripled there prices for the weekend of July 20-22. $200 to $300 bucks a night, the weekend before the same rooms are like $100. Lol

And now the planning begins, I feel the east coast route kind of makes it an all or nothing adventure. Thinking maybe go down early take the kiddos and do one of the parks in Orlando for a few days. If we bring the kiddos then it would be taking both MINIs. What are others thinking?
