I think we are going, still need to work out the details at work. We'll be driving up earlier in the week to visit Sara's family, but we can caravan back with everyone.

Tires will help protect the rim, but will add greatly to the weight, you should cut out cardboard discs and tape them to the face of the wheel. If you don't want to ship the tires, than 4 boxes with plenty of padding will work and save weight.

This sunday is the annual British Car show at the LilyPons in Adamstown, MD. Last year we went checked out the cars, had brunch at a nice local place and then just went driving. It was a good time, so we are doing it again. If anyone wants to join us, post up and I will keep updating info as we plan it. As of right now we (Joe and I) plan on meeting at an undecided location just off of 270 in the Rockville area and will caravan from there.

Sara's family is in town, so I may take her Dad and Uncle to either Katies or the super car rally in Annapolis, it just depends if they want to wake up that early or not.

Duane was there, I left after the meet. I had to get to FEDEX for the AutoX. I can do the work to get the event advertised, organized, the spaces coned off and the reservations made. But someone else will have to work with sponsors to get prizes or coupons to give away and getting a drive lead/planned.

lol, I've tried!! We (the lotus club) do it twice a year and we get sponsors involved. Everything is completely free and usually everyone leaves with something. We hang around for 2 hours and head over to the blue iguana for all you can eat brunch. This time after brunch there was a group drive.:motor:
