I also have never heard of that either lol
I've plowed snow with my car:tongue:
....YEAH! Like rocks, dogs, people,........and manhole covers :banghead: lol
But in all seriousness I think the Megan coils suit you best. Your not going to be going anything drastic with your car like riding at sea level or track/auto-x all the time.
Budget, I forgot to say budget. Being a college student myself, i know that money is always a factor.
KW V1's are nice, pricey but quality.......and go low if you ever decide to spin them down
The Megans aint bad either. They do offer adjustable dampening and have the the camber plates.
Saw Green Cactus pulling out of the BB&T parking lot yesterday morning in Falls Church. I would of waved but you would of been like who the hell is that in the CR-V.
^^Not quite. That bumper was for me to practice plastic welding and and bondo/paint work
@ elpollodiablo: I have actually gone an inch lower since those pictures were taken.
Long story short, I cracked my block :banghead:
I was in a hurry and hit what I believe is a gas line cover thing on the road. They are not as big as manholes but they have a domed top. I didnt think about after I hit it. When I came back to my car where I parked it I saw that it was sitting in a puddle of oil (see pic #1). I was like ehh its just the oil pan. So after getting it towed home and up on stands I realized that I had actually cracked my block The lower engine mount had snagged on the cover. **** had just hit the fan (see pic #2). All the money I had been saving up for new wheels and a couple other goodies has been put into a new engine Hopefully some forged pistons are in the works. Current status: The engine I bought is disassembled and cleaned (see pic #3). Im just waiting for a buddy to help me drop my engine. Kinda hard to do with a jack and just me

Do NOT do that if the wheel lips that are polished have a clear coat over them. If the brake dust has gotten into the clear coat and its starting to spider web, stain or flake then the aluminum is oxidizing and there is nothing you can do now.
Your option is to have the clear removed off of the lips, re-polished and then cleared again. I would leave them bare without polish because the clear takes a little of the shine away from the aluminum. Having no clear on the lips means more work tho. Making sure the wheels are cleaned weekly, and polished every once in a while.
Control arm bushings
Tie rods
Strut mounts/towers
Gaskets....valve cover, oil pan, crank seal, water pump o-rings.
Check to see if your leaking power steering fluid, if so change those lines.
Motor mounts, both top and bottom.
Im at 105,xxx and I've done all of those on mine with the exception of the motor mounts. Didnt really care to change those out.
