Craig is dead on right. :congrats: :rock: :top: Last year there was a woman that passed in a blind corner and Kilboy the photographer was coming in the other direction. He knows the road well and was able to avoid her. It became a huge deal on all of the forums as it should have been. Imagine when I heard it was a Hot Orange MINI with flames and a Dragon (whew). I call it Tigger's evil twin. I know I would never ever pass on the dragon, but I'd hate for anyone to even think I did. Shoot I'm almost too wimpy to pass on a straight road if I don't have my own lane. Just don't pass anyone. If someone is going too slow, won't pull over to let you pass and annoying you, find a place to pull over and let them get way ahead of you. Then you can enjoy the road and be safe. Mark and I had a Dragon run last year where we had to pull over like 3 times to let the big fat Caddie gain some ground on us before we would catch up again. Also Saturday mid day is the worst possible time to hit the Dragon. It's a total traffic jam and last year I counted like 5 cops on the road. Get out there early morning on Sat or right before dusk when the crowds have cleared. It's a blast and a fun vacation, but with any motoring activities there are risks. With this many people, it's going to be insane.

I'm starting to work on raffle prizes. We have a $25 gift card from Firefox restaurant in Alexandria. I also hear that we have a gift certificate from a wine shop. If anyone can help with this, I have a sponsor letter that I can send you. Approach the business that you know and ask if they would mind making a donation for the raffle or prizes. The letter has all of the tax information on it so that they can properly write it off. The more prizes we have, the better chance of success and fun for everyone.

We went to eat at Foxfire restaurant last night and I saw a Spice Orange Justa, so I tagged it. We were eating outside and I watched as the owner went to her car. She had on orange sun glasses!!!! It's a sign! I hope she comes and joins. I waved her the peace sign as she left, and she nodded back. I try hard not to be too much of a MINI stalker, so I didn't leap over the restaurant fence into the parking lot to introduce myself and babble about Tigger. Please come join us so I'm not the only orange sun glass wearing member....

I have them too and they are nice looking and do hide the dirt and wear very well. They look awesome, I can show mine off tomorrow if anyone wants to see them. Mark never had a problem with them. But as a woman, I found that certain shoes would catch when clutching. I actually put the stock one back on the drivers side. I haven't had a single shoe incident since putting stock mats back in on the drivers side.

I have a spare. If I charge up the Motorola's I'll have 3 to spare. I know there are always people with spares

We are definately one MINI this weekend. Max is having a sleep over at Passport. The intake boot split, they don't have the part in stock.

I think if you miss hitting the link on a notification email for a thread it unsubscribes you. I will also subscribe at the forum level so that I don't miss anything.

I'm pretty sure Mark and I are going to double up and bring one MINI. So if you need us to help out let me know. Max is going into Passport on Friday morning for a check engine light, not sure we'll have him back and we won't bring a loaner on a run.

I just tried it and it worked fine

I was speaking with some of the organizers from the Wlidlife Rescue league. They said that with baby season upon us, they can always use blankets and cloth diapers. So I thought I'd throw it out there that if you want to bring along some old blankets as an additional donation, feel free to bring them. One of the organizers has offered to transport them in her SUV. Any kind of blanket is helpful if you want to bring them. Also, since I used to be one of their hotline volunteers, if anyone does have a wildlife question, fire away. I'll try to address them.

I got a Cat Back, so I believe that's all behind the catalytic converter.

Mine pairs with a specific MINI, so I don't think I can use it on others. I was hoping to discuss it more with Jan at the Dragon.

I'd be interested too and June would work for me. But first we need a garage and can't assume that the Garage Mahal is available Then I could get the contact info for Carlos and find out the details.
