Darn it, I had too much fun. Got home last night and started sneezing. Have a full blown cold. I do this all the time. I had to call in sick after my first run with the club. All that adrenaline just kills my immune system and I come down with something every single time! However, I will do it again and again and I hope I can become half decent at it. When I go, I want to do both sessions to get the most possible seat time. I don't get sick after club runs anymore, so I'm sure I'll adjust to autocross too.

They sponsored and participated in autocross today. Rick was really nice and his MINI is fast!!!!

I am exhausted, but I had an incredible day!!! I learned a lot about Tigger.

Mark just made a good point for those of us driving in tomorrow. If you were planning to drive through DC there is a half / full Marathon in DC tomorrow morning. Mark is running the half marathon. He said the full one goes down through Annacostia, so there's a chance that with road closures driving straight through DC on the 395 to 295 to 50 might not be a good idea. I'm going to go around the beltway and across the Wilson Bridge to be safe

I emptied Tigger, but he's dirty. Put my helmet in the car already. Have to pack lunch, snacks, a chair and some clipboards, pens, paper

What time would we have to meet up? I'm worried I'll be running out the door at the last minute. But that location is really near my house.

They have covers, you can just replace them. They come in two pieces per side. I had considered buying the covers and painting them, but I think the vinyl will be nicer.

So is Pasti dip something you put over their high beams? :embarassed:

Hmmmm is there a mod that you don't have, that I want and can bait you into getting? Look Tigger's up on jacks getting a mod that Gute Faht doesn't have. What to do, what to do?

Thanks Haemish, I did look into them in the past and decided that I don't want black. I really like the metallic dark gray, which is why I'm going with the vinyl. So is anyone else planning to get any mods at the Dragon:questionmark:

You're still having issues with the dash sticking or is it the door pieces? I stuck mine on with silicon gel and it is on tight. I don't know if any of the guys at the Dragon would want to get into that job. We could try and tackle it here one weekend. I figure if we can remove the piece, clean the base really well of any residue, we can stick that sucker on well.

Maybe you were a parrot in a past life. I like shiny things too, and I like my carbon fiber glossy not flat, but I don't like the polished chrome look with Tigger. It looks very nice on Scoopie

I'm having Todd from Todd's Mods wrap Tigger's chrome roll bars in a dark gray metallic. I'm excited, more chrome will die :elephant::elephant::elephant:

You should bring you own to be safe. I think there's also a brewery run where you can get some.

They also said they expect to have it cleared by the weekend, so this one doesn't look too bad.

You do want to fill up before you get to the Dragon, it can get a little pricey at the pumps right by the resort, but still you're only like 20 miles from the more affordable gas. Since you have a cabin, you can cook your own meals, so food is cheap. There's something amazing about being in this beautiful area, with all that amazing scenery and MINIs in every driveway. :love:

I can't picture which part of the Dragon that this is. Is it near the top where the slide was last time? Is it near where the rock slide was in '10? Hopefully they can open it back up, even if they have to do the one way thing like they did last time, I'm fine with that. Keep us posted if you notice more updates
