  1. Oh yeah baby!!!! That was my Tigger and his mighty roarrrrrrrr :thrasher:
  2. Tigger does that too
  3. I'll be hitting up vendors for prizes and raffles
  4. I have those in 215s. I do like them. They are an All Season so you can use them year round. I know at autocross I got a few comments about my tires not being sticky enough, but that's how it goes with All Seasons. What I like about them is that during the shoulder seasons between cold and warm, I still have a nice tire on. They also ride a lot nicer in the winter then snow tires do. I took them to the Dragon last year and was really happy with them. They're also very quiet. Mark runs the DW summer performance version of them and likes them a lot.
  5. I love this run!!!
  6. I'm planning to hit up vendors for raffle prizes at the Dragon. We'll also work on some local business prizes. Should be a fun day
  7. Had a great day!!! We had sunshine in the morning which was very nice. Daisy and Peanut got lots of scratches and love. I cleaned up on raffle prizes which was very exciting, but Miss Quitta won a really incredible prize worth a ton more then all of my little fun prizes. We got 68 MINIs on the Ferry and there was room for more. I think they raised a ton of money for the charity too:congrats::congrats::congrats: Great job HR MINI!!!
  8. It was great having so many new people at the happy hour. It was a lot of fun
  9. We need to invite Celia too
  10. His old exhaust would give you a run for your money Ricky The new one is the same as the one I have on Tigger now, but it's louder on Alice.
  11. I actually like em dirty, they make Tigger look tough. I just wanted to be sure it doesn't mean there's something wrong
  12. I change the oil every 5,000 miles. When I got the new exhaust the inside of the tips were black in 3 weeks. does that seem normal?
  13. What a great turn out! I had a lot of fun. Thanks for setting it up Laura!!!
  14. I run Tigger pretty hard, but I can see my new exhaust is covered in soot. I'm not sure what causes it. After getting the new exhaust my mpg did go up a bit. It used to be when I was driving average city miles that my mpg was always just below my average mph. So if I averaged 21 mph I would get 20 mpg. That now switched and my mpg is a tad above so if I'm averaging 21 mpg I'm getting about 21.7 or 22 mpg. The exhaust tips, totally black on the inside and the exhaust is less then a month old.
  15. I saw that MINI on 395 today :wavey:
  16. Got a great wave on the way home from club member 68wmcs He waved first and I waved back. He passed then I passed and we waved again. Made the commute home so much more fun. :wavey::wavey::motor::motor: Nice MINI too
  17. Wasn't the first MINI brought into the US bought by the owners of MINImania?
  18. Hey Phil I don't know if this is possible, but is there a way to ask if they'll open up bathrooms when we're there? They did it last year at Waldorf, but it was rough this last Sat. I really didn't want to "go in the woods" like the guys were doing.
  19. That was an awesome video, and great song. I want to ride with you sometime. I love riding with people that know how to handle the car.
  20. My goal is to improve too, and get more seat time. I worked with four different instructors and learned something from each of them. Jonathon was my first instructor, he pretty much got me to stop being such a girl and to come out of the gate with more confidence and speed. My first run with him was down right relaxing, he stopped that right away, cones were dying Collin taught me to treat the course more as a cohesive pattern and not as individual pieces to navigate. He really concentrated on how I was hitting the lines and not putting it all together. He made that make sense. When Adam was working with me he said "you're either accelerating, braking or turning" you have to be doing at least one of those things at all times. It seems I wasn't always taking advantage of when I could accelerate. I know I don't push Tigger to his limits, but as I build confidence, I will get there. Marina made me conscious of looking ahead at all times. She would literally remind me to turn my head and look. "I want to see your head turn before you get to the turn, if you are looking in the turn it's too late". She also reminded me to accelerate I can still here her yelling "Go go go go!" Such an awesome class!!!! :top:
  21. I bought mine used from a guy on NAM, you have to watch the market to see what's for sale. Are you looking for an after market? You can get a nice Magnaflow for a lot less then what the dealer is charging. There's also a guy that does custom exhausts http://www.robertscustomexhaust.com/
  22. Well you still did great and the instructor showed you what Cricket can do. That's always good to know :top:
  23. I tagged a nice pepper white JCW in the Reston Whold Foods parking lot today. License plate JCWRX I hope they come out to play
  24. That's some sparkly paint!!!
