This is so true I'm leaving Saturday free and only do one run a day when I do them. I never try to squeeze in 2 runs, is too stressful

Sign up is next Saturday morning at 9:00, it's a good idea to set a calendar reminder and get logged in right away. Also after a lot of chatting with Mark, I'm bringing Angus. I'm concerned that Tigger will just break down again when I get there, don't want to bring the Countryman and this way he can take Angus on the Dragon and he has both of his MINIs. I had considering no MINI but I'm doing fine after surgery and I just can't handle not having a MINI there. Here's what I'm doing We're there all week so Monday night I'll set up the dinner at the Hub for the early people, we had like 50 people last year Tuesday morning we help stuff bags etc, it's a lot of fun and over the years I've worked my way to the line runner. I grab the full boxes at the end of the table and replace with empty ones. Everyone likes to flog me if I'm not fast enough. I get to yell faster faster if the line is too slow. Wed morning the Smokey Mountain sunrise run Thursday, Craig and I are running the photography run. It will be a lot of fun, it starts early. I give a lot of instruction on angles to shoot your MINI, the lighting, how to shoot the details, how to compose an image and more Friday afternoon - Paint bar Friday before brewswap (5:15) - Club photo on the top of the dam Saturday open Set your calendars we're in Dragon planning mode!!! With the newbies maybe we can arrange a DCMM club dragon run where we nestle you between experienced drivers and guide you through it. Gen 1's are super easy, you can even go after market with them. Tigger is on his 4th radio

My understanding is it's really difficult and expensive to change out the radio in a 2nd gen MINI. My husband had to add a little side unit that sat in his cup holder to get satellite. I don't know about the unit on ebay but hopefully someone here does

I started my dessert today. It's going to be a paleo trifle or a strawberry shortcake. I made little cakes that are a lot like macaroons, lots of coconut in them. Will top with fresh strawberries and coconut cream. Either way should be yummy

First it's very social and fun, there's a ton of amazing roads that you can take work a group or alone. The cost of food and gas isn't bad and the BBQ is awesome!!!! The scenery is stunning! There are fun activities or you can chill, or you can just meet up work Mark and drive the Dragon 20 times a day. It's heaven, that's all I have to say

A local dealership can order the key too, that's what we did when I lost the key to Max.

Let's try this again, last year I messed up the time and a few people got left out. We usually try for Friday night before the brew swap. Will that work for everyone? Not sure where to shoot it this year. I have to get an idea of how many MINIs we'll have

Saw about 5 MINIs while out and about today. One actually waved, I got very excited. I usually get more waves when I drive Tigger

I lost a key to our '09 and I had to go to the dealer. You can buy a key fob on ebay but it won't work till the dealer codes it. They get your money either way.

I just realized that you said this is Thursday. That's the same time as my photography run. Maybe we'll see you out there

Robbinsville is a 20 - 30 minute fun drive. A lot of us wind up there the first year
