  1. The rumor mill has it that Zparkle is getting some PD??? Any truth to that?
  2. Especially pet bears that have large leafy plants and bring their own printers!
  3. Sent via email and we look forward to seeing how it comes out!
  4. I responded to the PM once I was able to get to my email. We'll be around all day on Saturday so whatever time you and Corey want to drop in, there will be someone around. The great thing about PD (not sure if this has already been said) is that if you don't like it, you can peel it off and no damage has been done.
  5. Is that a CORvette or a CHEvette? I think Ali used to drive a sporty little vette but I have a foggy recollection that hers may have been a CHEvette. You should trade notes with her!
  6. Bumping to remind folks who are still interested. Lona is threatening me- says she will create work and muttered something about HOMER and a hammer...
  7. Beau, Take a couple of photos (see the info in the original post for specifics) and send them to Randy. Let him know that there are openings that are back to back if he can do it here. PM, email or post here once you get word back from Randy.
  8. Just bumping this to see if there's anyone else that may need an appointment.
  9. That's awesome news! I'm sure there are lots of folks in the club running around in 1st gen's with worn bushings and they don't even know it. It's like gray hair - you don't wake up one morning with it... it happens over time. Any suggestions of simple ways that folks can check their bushings to see what kind of shape they are in and if they might need to be replaced?
  10. Sounds like you've done your research. I'd still be concerned about the valving and internal bump stops but it sounds like it's working for others. The FSD's are great struts!
  11. Hey everyone, just a reminder on the MOTD Tshirts. There is a minimum order required and we are just over 1/2 way there. We'd also like to get the orders done within the next couple of weeks so the shirts can be printed and we can get them delivered to you before everyone heads out for the Dragon. Thanks and again, if you have any questions, please contact any DCMM board member. Thanks, Craig
  12. I bet you go through a lot of computer monitors like that don't you? Definately check your struts before you install them with lowering springs - Chris is right and it'll leave you a very, very unhappy camper if you blow out those new struts that way.
  13. I like the look! I figure "Go big, or go home"...
  14. Cambo - there's a new user on the forums, he bought my Clubman and he mentioned possibly removing that VIP Quad bar that I left on the car. Ali (Tgggrr) knows his screen name, I don't recallw what it is. You may be able to work out a deal with him as he'll be in the market for an intact grill if he does decide to get rid of it.
  15. My job is done here, I'll just pat myself on the back for a moment. :hahaha: :congrats::congrats::congrats::congrats::congrats::congrats::congrats: P.S. I think that's the most emoticons that I have ever used in a single post. I sure hope the grammar cops don't bust me for it!
  16. Please don't encourage Ali and emoticons - you'll be overwhelmed...
  17. Lona is a Navigator in search of a driver - I can vouch for her, she's VERY good at this event. We have a trophy to prove it!
  18. Are you upgrading when it's replaced or just going with OEM? I checked the part numbers and the Cooper S and JCW clutches cost the same but have different part numbers. When I had the last clutch put in Merlin, the SA said that there was an upgraded version that was being installed. It's a bolt in replacement - meant to handle the additional torque/hp so it certainly won't hurt to do the upgrade!
  19. That is a good deal! Someone could walk away very, very happy with this!
  20. The factory warranty covers the clutch. They replaced one is Merlin at about 20k.
  21. +1 on that Ali. While technically a driving event, the driving isn't what it's all about. This event has been so much fun in the past.
