  6. hi all, i'm thinking that it's finally time to replace my stock shocks on my '05 cooper S with a set of koni FSD. any recommendations of a mini cognisant shop (preferably in somewhat close to rockville, md) to do the installation would be terrific. doing it myself isn't really an option since i'm having a problem with my right knee at the moment
  7. oddly enough, that's where i got them a year ago.
  8. are you sure that light pattern actually thrown by each light is actually different?? my testing shows that both have the same throw pattern (low on the left side w/ a pronounced rise on the right) if you have the sufficiently large and level space, try aiming your lights using this guide. http://www.danielsternlighting.com/images/Aim.pdf on the first gen cars, the lights are a bit of a bother to adjust because 1) they move w/ the hood 2) since they don't follow the old US DOT requirement, the alignment nipples aren't on the glass. no one ever flashes me for maladjusted lights on this car.
  9. for 1st gen vehicles, the eurospec heated drivers side glass is: 51167058059 available at pelican parts http://www.pelicanparts.com/cgi-bin/ksearch/pel_search.cgi?please_wait=N&forumid=&threadid=&command=DWsearch&description=51167058059&I1.x=13&I1.y=14 for way less than i paid at a dealer
