  1. Awesome! I can't wait to see the pics. I received my NM springs for my clubman on Tuesday. I'm waiting for there being less of a chance of snow before installing:tongue:.
  2. Good to know that you're okay though. Sorry to hear about the MINI
  3. Take care and I hope to see you up this way sometime soon! :wavey::itsme: I need to show this thread to my family... I'm heading down to Atlanta (Newnan actually) in May for a looong weekend and nobody wants to drive in the MINI that far! Take care, Mike
  4. Very nice! Looking forward to seeing some clips.
  5. Perhaps two things to do: If you get pulled over, unroll your windows; Keep a copy of your tint paperwork/receipt if you had legal tint added. 35% tint plus the natural tint of the glass can put you below the legal percentage. Showing an officer your receipt might help show them that you were acting in good faith and save you from getting a ticket (helped a friend when he was pulled over by MD State Trooper).
  6. Same year as above... not as nice a hat though
  7. If Jay doesn't get them, I'm definitely interested.
  8. And here I thought it was just me ole bones rattlin' on these cold days...
  9. I haven't done the footwells or rear doors (Clubman) yet. Oh and I'm not replacing the glove box light and instead using that bulb in the club door since that bulb is not included in the set. I found the overhead dome to be the easiest then the door/puddle lights. The map light covers are a bit of a pain but try wiggling it a bit until it pops out. The bulbs in there are what I found to be the biggest pain... Good luck and post some pics up when you're done!
  10. Sorry for going off topic, but for the life of me I can't seem to get my wife to trade in her old Envoy for a Flex... Can you see out the back ok? My wife backed her Envoy out of the garage and into my MC. Unfortunately her metal NY Yankees hitch cover 'branded' my front bumper.
  11. I almost ordered a deluxe set for my Clubman last month. I'm really glad I procrastinated! (sometimes it does pay!). Thanks Dan
  12. Ha! Well, being stuck on 495 in 98 degree weather is not so fun either! (been there...)
  13. Great pics! Did you use Plasti-Dip on the front license plate cover on Carmen? I have the chrome version and was thinking of using the Plasti-Dip on it....
  14. Sorry... University of Maryland Terrapins (and Maryland in general) - school colors are Red and Black (and yellow/gold). And a terrapin is really just a turtle so it's not actually red/black, but perhaps brown or green...I'm rambling...:stupid:
  15. I'm on the Lake Shore side of town :embarassed: pics can be found at http://www.flickr.com/photos/zugzugmcd/
  16. Welcome Tom!!! Mark was my MA as well and I also live in Pasadena, but my MINI is MD Terp colored =) (not some Blue Devil like color)
  17. That was an awesome time. Thanks so much to Rab and everyone else that helped out. Jonshungry...I think that's the Amish(?) minivan. The guy had a huge smile on his face and was waving. Quite unforgettable!
  18. Should we add the Frederick to Hagerstown 'run' as a new event? See you all there!
  19. Same car. All the chrome has been blacked out except the scuttles, door handles and gas cap. The sig pic looks funky because I used some filter in an iPhone app. Makes the wheels look black too =) Here's the same pic unfiltered:
  20. MINIs at night... got that tread going... MINIs at a picnic... got that thread going... Since some of us are close to Civil War battlefields, I propose a tread of MINIs and Cannons :ridinghorse: From Gettysburg this past weekend: Fire away!
