<p>Since everyone seemed to like the Scoops & Coops night run, I thought we could try another moonlight run. </p> <p>This time, we'll meet at Andy Nelson's BBQ, 11011 York Road, Cockeysville, MD 21030 and grab something to eat before we take on Baltimore County's Hereford Zone, where they don't believe in streetlights or painting centerlines on their roads </p> <p>If you thought these roads were fun on daylight runs, just wait 'til you drive them in the dark. Lots of hills and plenty o' twisties. </p> <p>Run time will be approximately 1 and a half hours. </p> <p>We'll end in Wegman's parking lot again so bring your grocery list.</p>

Bring your cameras and camcorders. Did I mention to bring cameras? </p> <p>Depending on how many of us there are and the fact that we'll be down there on a Sunday morning, there should be plenty of parking. (NOTE: There is metered parking down by the docks and I do know that their machines also take credit cards.)</p> <p>l]</p> <p>NOTE: I don't think the Park at BWI has a restroom, so the plan is to make a quick stop at McD's about 1/2 way between BWI and Annapolis.</p> <p> </p> <p>Finally, to round out the day, at around noon, we'll depart the docks and take a short drive to Quiet Waters Park for a picnic. Bring your own food and drink (no alcohol), chairs, blankets, etc. It is not necessary, but feel free to bring something to share if you would like. Suggest you keep it simple and non-perishable. I believe they also have concession stands as well. Oh yeah, don't forget your cameras.</p> <p>Quiet Waters Park has a lot to offer, so please visit their site for details, information, and rules. If you live in the area, you can also buy annual passes for $40.00. If you are service connected, (military, veterans, and their families), entry is free as long as you have proper id.</p> <p> </p> <p>We have reserved a pavilion (Dogwood). This way we are guaranteed a spot w/cover,parking together, and grilling if want to. Based an the number of 'yes' rsvp's so far, the pavilion will be $10.00 per per car + the cost of parking (see above). If more members rsvp, then the cost of the pavilion goes down.</p> <p> </p> <p>The Dogwood pavilion has 2 large picnic tables and 6 small picnic tables, as well as one large grill available. Organized games are not recommended nearby, but you may set up horseshoes, volleyball, and badminton in the field to the south of the large playground. The closest accessible restrooms are available at the Visitor Center, which is a 2 - 3 minute walk.
