TGGRRR (Ali)
Ali, belt line is next, but yes I plan to tape it off and use a lot of newspaper. After Tigger is painted I'd like to use PD Smoke on the beltline, Being that the top is fabric, I'm just not sure that the PD will peel off as easily. GreenCactus
Ali-I have gunmetal pinstripe tape that is the same width as the beltline. It's yours if you want to try it. It's a big roll, so I'm sure there's enough for a few MINI's.

If not, where did you get it? maybe I can order one for Tigger. Tigger 2006 the cabrio and Riversong the 2014 Countryman
GreenCactus
It's 1" wide, which I think is too wide for Tigger. It's from Prostripe. I'll bring it with me on Saturday. Well, I'll try. It's in a box, so I'll bring it if it gets unpacked.

Brandy_Brown
so after taking off her sun dried icky ones, decided that i did not like her without them, after pricing new ones thought came into mind plasti-dip. Here is the stages and finished product. Gunmetal grey main stripes with Blaze orange accent to match the lights inside. Going to make hubby open his own plasti dip install shop out of our garage, lol http://www.dcmetrominis.org/forums/image.php?u=1132&type=sigpic&dateline=1367319111

Tigger really smelled bad on the ride home after Craig PD'd the flames As long as the weather stays nice the way it has been, I don't drive the MINI around during the week. I'm used to driving without a headliner or pillars, I removed them from my Subaru when I wrapped them in suede. I think Mike once dipped his whole car. MINIs are small enough that we can do this stuff. For the Dragon we should all PD the snouts to protect them from rocks on the trip down there and back Tigger 2006 the cabrio and Riversong the 2014 Countryman

TGGRRR (Ali)
thats actually a really good idea like to the front bumper and front of the bonnet? I'm thinking where the clear bra would go. A few years back we tried road wrap and that was a spectacular failure, but we know PD and it will work great Tigger 2006 the cabrio and Riversong the 2014 Countryman
GreenCactus
I found a plasti-dip alternative. It's really expensive, but if you're wanting to do the entire car, it might not be a bad alternative. Also, it comes in any color you want! http://www.alsacorp.com/paint_wrap/paint_wrap.html In case you don't want to get rid of all of your chrome, you can use this... http://alsacorp.com/strechchrome/index.html
