Burning rubber is always a better smell then burning clutch. Before you know it; it will all be second nature, and till then it gives you a reason to motor in your mini. not that anyone really needs a reason.

We had a great time; and thank you for the great photos. Unfortunately the sustained 60mph drive home let me diagnose a failing u-joint. So I will be changing it out next weekend I have free to devote to it. :banghead:

Debating whether or not to drive watson up or just ride with brandy is ebony. Need to get watson up for a long drive locally before I feel confident driving him up to alexandria. Everything has been running strong but knowing my luck I'll end up on the side of route 1. Any other classics coming out for the photo?

Thanks; this will definately turn into a build process thread. Watson doesn't need any major surgery, but lots of TLC. Fingers crossed; I am going through the suspension today hit grease points hope to find nothing major.

Going no stripes presents it's own issues. When Brandy got her 09 clubby the stripes were cracking so we removed them. not only to the stripes fade but so does the paint. The paint under the stripes is protected by the vinyl stripes, so you will likely have a difference on the hood. I redid them with plasti-dip, easy to peel off if you are not happy, and a can is like 8 bucks. there are a few photos of how it turned out in the plasti-dip thread

Watson was looking really rough on the inside, but a few hours with some sound dampening, and an upholstery kit and he is looking presentable.
