On my way into work this morning I saw Ali driving Tigger on the Toll Road (west bound). While approaching I could clearly make out the VO convertible MINI that is Tigger (one of a kind, unlike we BRGs). Top down, Ali looking in her mirrors to see who that MINI was, then waving, I lowered my windows and gave a nice wave as I passed. Luckily I was running Waze and moved over just ahead of a semi before I approach a known speed trap. There was a LEO in an unmarked car taking laser photos of all the cars. :big grin:

I don't have a problem with anyone taking Falls Rd, since I rarely take it during rush hour. Yes, I hope to see you this Saturday.

A great idea but we are heading to lunch in Lancaster after the Rise n Shine and then need to get home. We will have been on the road 12 days and need to recover for work on Monday. :banghead:

Alexander and Erik, Sorry that we have not met. Will you be at the next M&G at MINI of MoCo? I am usually only up in Rockville and Gaithersburg on Saturday morning when running errands or going to out to dinner or to the dentist (like next week). I was just dropping clothes off at Zips and going to Batteries+. I live near Potomac village and work in Reston and from home.

I got a very nice wave from a woman driving a yellow Countryman this morning on Wootton Parkway and turning onto Seven Locks Road this morning in Rockville, MD. I passed her, she caught up at the light, and she initiated the wave. It took me by surprise since so few Country-people wave. I gladly waved back. :wavey:

It all depends on the route from east to west that MINI USA maps out for 2016. Since it will begin on the east coast in 2016, if they follow form, that should not be too hard to plan.

Memphis to Bethlehem here. We are taking 4 days to get to Memphis before joining up with MTTS. There is a whole lot of WV, KY, and TN we want to see.

Steph was so nice to move to the right from the left lane as I was approaching her on the Dulles Toll Road last evening. I waved as I passed (windows up) but I think I took her by surprise, it took her a second to recognize me and then catch up for some windows-down hand waving. :wavy: That was the best waving I have gotten in the past 2+ years. :top:

Thanks Ali. Good pictures and a fun time. My "co-pilot for life" and I had fun and ended up driving around DC afterwards. Very few people were out. It was a beautiful night.

I'm with Chris and Craig. It is not that I don't drive in the snow, I was raised up north, but I choose to drive my Cherokee in the snow. Or, since I am lucky to have the option to work remotely (home or anywhere) when I want, Ernie stays all nice and warm in the garage when it is snowing.
