One can dream, but it's not realistic. I have to vacate the apartment by the 3rd. Finish loading up the POD. Wait for the POD to be picked up in Arlington and dropped off in Annandale. Then I'm free. I wouldn't be able to leave until Friday. Too long of a drive! I looked into the Megabus which takes you to Knoxville thinking I could always stow-away on the ride back.

I just ran into the Sherminator (sbnimble) at the Pentagon. Since we weren't in our MINIs (good thing since I said ran into), I got a hug instead of just a wave.

I love you guys... but I'm green with envy... I'll keep the rest of my jealousy comments to myself...

I don't know if it's been mentioned yet, but for newbies there is a DIY carwash in Robbinsville as well as car wash stations at Fontana. Geno and I washed our cars after the long drive.

Bah humbug, my fac nav tries to send me down one ways the wrong way too many times. The GPS wouldn't recognize roads often. I think I just have a bad fac nav... remember it's broken right now. I'm glad yours is better. Mine just sucks. ok off my soap box.

So if there's something I've learned from the last few times Lola's been in the shop is that I am CAR CLUELESS when it comes to the repairs and how my engine works. My SA has been great about fighting my warranty company when he could tell they were being jerks, but I didn't bother asking him to explain to me and SA already knows it's Greek to me. Usually I revert to Geno, my dad, my boss or my DCMM family, but I need to start understanding this stuff better. Anyone have any suggestions that doesn't involve reading a manual that is hundreds of pages? #aintnobodygottimeforthat.... Anyone else feel the same way? Sincerly, Clueless in DC :banghead:

Michael, that's too bad. I'm praying my car will be out of the shop before this too. I just sent Al (DaBeest) (spelling?) an email to let him know your spots opened up. If there's any left over I'm trying to see if Dad wants to come too.
