Poison Ivy

So I've already announced this on Facebook, but I'm a few days late on announcing here. On Black Friday I went to PMoA and picked out a barely used new MINI and took her home on Saturday. I did trade Lola in, I'm so grateful for my adventures with her but hopefully her next owner(s) will love her very much too. So far I'm very much in love with my new MINI. Meet Poison Ivy! She's a '13 MCS, Brittish Racing Green II with white roof & mirror caps, white bonnet stripes, and white rims. She's been previously used as a Corp Demo car for MINI USA in California.

Boxes have been picked up and I delivered four (2 for PMoA and 2 for MoMoCo) at PMoA. PMoA was gracious enough to offer to get the to boxes to MoMoCo. I still have four more that could go to MoS and MoA, but Ali thinks MoA has box(es). I've let SSgt Perez the Toys for Tots coordinator know we will be delivering the toys on Dec 14th.

DuClaw has been called and a reservation for 16 people (our 14 registered +2 for a cushion) has been made for 5pm. While I really hope for a good C3M turnout, if they didn't RSVP above I can't guess their attendance #. See you Sunday!

I created these albums to show what DCMM does and how much fun some of the events are. I'd love to add more photos and more albums. Please share with me if you're interested. If you already have an album I'll do the work of adding them to the albums, but I won't do that without your permission.

Chris I started a PICASSA Web Album called DCMM Photos. I was going to start by creating albums of previous events so new members have a better idea of the events we'd do. Give me a little time (a day or so and it should be up and running).

Couple things. There's a separate reservation for the lunch that has 75 people currently registered. Some people won't do the beltway drive and just join us for lunch and vise versa. The lunch is a buffet so that makes the bills a lot easier, typically you get charged for your buffet and beverages. We've been to Kilroys for many years and they give us a room in the back all for us (including parking in the back). Having cash makes the payment process much easier.

Start time has been changed to 5pm so that members of C3M who are participating in LostDeverite's run can join us after. :top: We can still plan to eat a little later but this way we can hang out by the cars first.

Just finished my costume. I'll need someone's help getting the costume onto Lola, but I'm sure that won't be a problem. So excited!
