Will scuttles from a 2nd gen even fit a first gen?

I installed an Alta. No issues at all. No lag, 2-3F difference between aimbient and intake air temp. Jan tune and about 16 psi. Works for me.

My first mod was the AutoSport module, so I didn't have to push the button every time. Then the light in sight, then a wing lip... Then came the Jan tune, Alta intercooler, Way bypass valve, Scangauge2, Koni shocks and struts, TSW springs, H=Sport Rear bar, Oil catch can, and Zippie shade, stubby antenna, and on, and on and on... I tried a Inveidia exhaust, but the droan was unbearable...

I really can't believe that there are no wrecked R56 with sat radios. I've been looking for a Sirius box since I got the car. I just don't feel like paying the dealer almost $900 for it with install. I realize you have to go to the dealer to get it programed, and maybe for the install seeing as how it's on a fiber optic bus, but almost $500 for the receiver?

Pass on the Kumho's if those are your only choices. The star specs are probably the best bang for the buck. The Yok's are probably the most expensive, I've never had a problem with Bridgestone's, (but I've never had them on a Mini...)

Depends on the year as to if it can be done. Up to 2009, yes it can be retrofitted. Programming should only be about 1 hour of shop time at the dealer. So I assume you got that quote because they didn't want to mess with it. for 2010 on.,,, can't be done at the dealer. It's not listed in the retrofit options in the service computer.

Or a bit further to Eldersburg. I've got a lift, 3 bays, air, tunes, and heat.

It's a bit of a hike, but Mark's body shop in Baltimore does some of the best work I've ever seen. They do all the work for Mini of Baltimore County. (it's really flawless)

Installed for less than 1000 miles, the wife says it's got to go. Perfect condition, all stainless steel 304 construction. $500 and I'll install it for you. Retails for $600ish... Can't beat this deal. Rich In Eldersburg, Md.

Auto cross isn't hard on brakes at all...lol I doubt you really even build up any heat in them at all. Any pad that works well on the street will work for autocross. That's not true for the track.

Before I even bought the Mini last year, I ordered a set of 16" wheels, tpms sensors and run flat snow tires from TireRack. I just didn't want to deal with any flat in winter. As soon as i use up the stock 17" rf tires, I won't be getting runfalts to replace them.

Forgot to mention, this was the 3ed oil change in the 10,200 miles. I changed it at 1500, and again, at 6.5K. I figured I should just get what I paid for in terms of the included maintenance plan.

Just stopped by Mini of Baltimore County and asked about the yearly oil change requirement outlined in BOLD in the maintenance manual. 10,200 miles and 1 year aog I took delevery. Yep, took it right in and changed the oil no charge.

I wonder if these are the ones I got?...lol

Why are the HD's priced about $300 less than the Sports? Are they the same valving, but the sport is shorter?

Was this for the Dimsport or the Alta? I haven't heard anything from Jan in over a week, and then he said soon. I'm seriously thinking of going back to the stock tune until then.

Did Jan's new tune get rid of the weird hesitation at 3000 ish rpm?

Or Alta.... Since Jan, (RMW), is switching to the Cobb platform, (what Alta uses, and appearantly way better and versitle for the guys doing the tuning), tuner... whew...

Rotate the rotor so that the screw is at the bottom. Hit the back side of the rotor with a BFH. It will either brake the screw or the rotor at the bolt hole. Seriously Then you can remove the left over part of the retaining bolt.

$22 + $10 for TBN But the results show that the Mini interval is about double too long...
