  1. Hi Cary CPR :itsme:
  2. I was in Old Town Alexandria this afternoon and met Glenda with Sassy her pepper white MCS. I gave her a card, she needs us. She said she parked next to Tigger so they could play. I hope she comes to meet us
  3. Hmmmm the comment came from Craig, I bet he's playing with us.
  4. Yes, that's the secret to having Fun while autocrossing!!!
  5. That's him! Top always up non waver
  6. I've seen a Hot Orange R52 base model in that area, it's usually the same guy that never waves. OK, once I forced him to wave cause I caught his eye. But I think since then he's on to me and he ignores me. Last time I saw him I honked and waved like a crazy woman, nothing..... Here's your wave from Tigger :itsme:
  7. HA!!! Katie's not mad, I was about to get the secrets of autocross out of him :banghead:
  8. It's primer orange!!!
  9. I hate when that happens!!! :itsme:
  10. I feel like I was there :top:
  11. That was a great picnic and the weather was perfect. Thanks for shopping and getting all the food prepared Craig and Lona (he tells me that Lona was the mastermind). I really enjoyed seeing everyone. I didn't hear much about the run, I hope you guys had a great time. Stories!!!! lets hear em
  12. I still have a lot of the DCMM 10 year anniversary clings with me. $4 a piece for anyone that wants one. I'll have them at the picnic
  13. So what are you going to do with it?
  14. Congratulations!!!!!! :congrats: :congrats: :congrats:
  15. I think I fixed the link for the movie, but because I'm at work I can't see YouTube, so I can't tell. Left your link in there just in case I didn't fix it.
  16. oooh nice, I really like the columns, the patterns are awesome
  17. I got one call and I cheerily told them that I love my current MINI so much that I had no need for a new one. Then asked if my Tigger was ready to go home yet since he was there for service. She got all confused and flustered while I went on about how much I love my MINI. That worked!!! No more calls <added note, crazy MINI lady leave this one alone> :top:
  18. I wanna ride in the new Rocco
  19. They are beautiful long exposures. Did you shoot in raw? The composition is nice and I love them, but if you can bring back some of the detail where the water blew out all white I think you could get more of the lacy effect. I love long exposures with water, they're magic
  20. What I did was call AAA, I also told them I wanted an OEM windshield. I didn't actually take the OEM windshield but this got me to the manager. AAA is actually really good and when I explained that I had a MINI and I wanted it done right he told me he understood and he sent me his best guy. The job was done perfectly in my driveway for about $300. They also have a policy that if you break it again in the year that they will replace it for $80. Safelite says that they have that amazing warranty, but when you read the fine print it's a warranty on their work. They don't warranty that the glass won't break.
  21. Add me, add me :itsme:
  22. I agree, we needed help. I was flailing :marshmellow: But I still like the effect. I think it could be cool with some high school portraits
  23. We have another vendor Bilbo Automotive in Alexandria. They might do AC work and they're good with MINIs
  24. This shot isn't there yet, but it's a technique that Stephanie and I were playing with. I had her backlit by the sun, put the camera on a tripod with a fairly small aperture, set exposure compensation to over expose one stop. Used the timer (forgot my remote) and got it all set up, then hit the timer and picked up the reflector to add some front lighting. Here's the best of the bunch. I'm very thankful to Stephanie for her patience in working with me on new techniques like she does. We had fun
