  1. OK, here goes two portraits. One is Sherman and Joanne's beautiful daughter Sasha and the other is our very own Stephanie with her friend Leah. I like the shot of Sasha because the post processing seems to go well with her look and expression. I find the expressions on Stephanie and Leah interesting, as if they were disturbed during a moment of gossip. I have the shots on my site, but I can't figure out how to show them embedded from the link. So I am updating the pictures
  2. Thank you guys for sweeping. I loved hearing Catalina's voice declaring that all MINIs had made the turn
  3. We have a new club vendor, Odds and Ends Detailing http://www.oddsandendsdetailing.com/ This is the same shop that is offering the free detailing clinic. He is offering club members (paid with a membership card) a 10% discount on products and services. He sells Adams products and works on a lot of high-end vehicles. He's excited to work with us in the club.
  4. I'm a huge fan of backlit photography, it's tricky but does give some beautiful light. It's also a great way to get interesting images in full sun. it's a technique that I'm still working on. The third one is my favorite, I like the flare in the bottom left. I would straighten it a bit and then in post bring back some contrast and detail. If you have Photoshop you can brush in some sharpness on the bridge and the reflection to bring more attention to it. I love what you're doing with the light. I'll try to post some shots tonight when I get home. Is it OK if things are highly edited or are we going more for realistic photography?
  5. And Kevin got my seized valve stem covers off!!! :top:
  6. They're the exact same shots, but you can download high res from my site
  7. I put my shots up here. http://www.alicyndrew.com/p383640260#h6457aa54 After processing I realized I didn't shoot a single MINI, What was I thinking???? I remember thinking about getting shots of MINIs, but I never actually took one. I did get some cool tunnel shots and some fun shots of Erin and Catalina playing in the water. Also got Casper enjoying a roll in some dirt. http://www.alicyndrew.com/p383640260#h6457aa54
  8. Those are great shots Tyler, I especially like that sassy one of Nick. You can just save that butt shot of me and keep it for yourself
  9. Thanks to everyone that came today for being so damn awesome! It was a great run and I think I only forgot one thing. To set my odometer to 0 and have all of you do the same. But we didn't lose anyone so that was good. Mark was saying if we do this again, we should just meet at the Martin's in Winchester. Also I'll tell people to bring bathing suits AND water shoes since a few people that went in the water got glass in their shoes and were cut. The weather cooperated after the torrential downpour of the morning wore off. I'm totally exhausted, will share the pictures I took when I'm done processing them. I'm really glad that all went well and I hope you all enjoyed yourselves
  10. The run is on, from what I'm seeing it's pretty much the same weather we had on the pre-run. We may hit some rain, but I think we'll be off of the mountain before it gets bad. See everyone at the coffee shop!!!
  11. Bring it because you can listen in, you just can't reply
  12. With snacks!!!!
  13. Can't wait to see and sniff him
  14. Exactly, we'll be pioneers of adventure!!!
  15. Thanks Mike I think we can risk it. If it starts to rain during the picnic we all run to our MINIs and talk to each other on the handsets
  16. That's one fine looking MINI
  17. Directions are informational and I made 30 copies
  18. We love Minnie too But Loki is special
  19. Tigger is all washed and waxed. It's the first time we've planned and led a run so he wanted to look his best
  20. Permagrin!!!!!
  21. If you're at PTuning talk to Justin about the alignment. I have a custom one and like it.
  22. How many cars can you buy that come with a whole family excited to greet the new baby :-)
  23. So soon, I can't wait to see him For Sunday's run, I want you to tuck in near the front, right behind me if you can get the spot. This way you can drive spirited but within the break in speeds. You don't want to be in the back where playing catch up could be stressful with a brand new MINI
  24. Delivery today?
