  1. I don't think Daniel will like that too much:frown:! I drive too slow for him and he'll find himself :banghead: dealing with my :stupid: ways...
  2. The anticipation is killing us, we can't wait to hear that it's fixed!
  3. Ali, you should learn to play nice and not make fun of the noises we make! And besides, it's PSSsssshhhh. Ryan - I've got a PM on the way to you with some info.
  4. :top: If we can't arrange a meet before we leave for WV, I'll meet you somewhere early next week - just let me know. Thank you!
  5. Good one! No, Lona's son lost his phone and he's not yet close to an upgrade.
  6. We are looking for anyone that has an AT&T iPhone 3G, 3GS or 4 that they would like to sell. PM or email if you do!
  7. You guys are such bandwagon trouble shooters! You suck! Go back to post #14 and I put the battery option on the table! It'll be good to hear what the resolution was.
  8. Okay, I'll admit it, the Bavarian Inn isn't the cheapest place to stop for lunch but we had to take a couple of things into consideration. First was - big enough to give us parking and then we had to consider the food itself. I'd even considered just hitting a grocery store with a deli for a quick sammich in the parking lot. I can't make it back out there before the 22nd of May so here's a request for input from ANYONE that's more familiar with the area. What are some other options? I'd hate to have the group split up all over town so I'm open/receptive to suggestions. Please update your RSVP (or add one if you haven't already) and make a suggestion for lunch. I'll be honest with you in saying that a quick trip into a grocery/deli may not be such a bad idea. Thanks, Craig
  9. GiGi, Be glad you weren't near our cabin more often! Ali fixed up a HUGE batch of chili that made a couple of meals for us... I'm pretty sure I had chili for at least 3, maybe even 4 meals. Still, feeding 800+ people chili at the same time? And they blame cows for destroying the ozone layer...
  10. Thanks for answering Laura, I was trying to remember what Carlos charged us. Just so folks know, Carlos is also really good about working with groups. Last winter, 3-4 of us went up on the day after Thanksgiving and Carlos opened the shop just for us (pre-coordinated) and knocked all of the cars out pretty quick.
  11. Well, that might be a sign! If you can get it jump started, most auto parts places can do a stress test on the battery. If it's not holding a charge or if it's dropped a cell, there's a chance that it just doesn't have enough "umpf" to turn the engine over and start it right away. Sucks that the lights got left on and all but hopefully, something good will come of it.
  12. Okay, it looks like Ali is actually doing more cursing than learning here but it's a pretty good video. Thanks to Celia for capturing it. You'll have to download it to watch it - YouTube won't let me post it because of the audio track so it's on my MobileMe page. Enjoy! files.me.com/cmcveay1/54vhtf.mov

  15. Looking forward to seeing everyone this evening!
  16. I mentioned the same thing about the brew swap, vendor pricing and also the car show. I didn't mention the menu because I doubt that they can keep the costs down with the caterer by diversifying the menu beyond a couple of simple selections. I would have been happy if there's just been a salad (or a better salad) offered. Great event no matter how you look at it and I personally think we are lucky to have someone like Snooter take on the challenge of coordinating all of it.
  17. Get some sleep man! I had to edit my post - I had to go back and check a post with pictures to make sure.
  18. Ummmm, did we just catch Haemish SKIMMING!!!! Where's Ali when you need her! Actually Haemish, I had to go back to another post with pictures to make sure.
  19. I think the fuel pump problem is limited to us 2nd Gen folks although you just never know until you've started diagnosing thing. What kind of trouble has it been giving when it's not wanting to start up and purr like a kitten? How does it run once it's started? Is it only with cold starts or after it's warm as well?
  20. While we were in Fontana, my TomTom GPS decided it couldn't face leaving the twisty backroads of North Carolina and Tennesse so it jumped off of the mount and smashed itself. If you've got a TomTom that is traffic capable, I have a power cord that'll support the traffic feature of your GPS and I'd like to give it to a good home. With this, you won't have to switch cables back and forth between cars and you can "stealth" the install! You can also have the suction cup mount if you'd like it as well. Heck, if you want the broken GPS, I'll even include it in the kit! I've also got the Cravenspeed TomTom GPS mount but I can't give it away like the power cord. You can take it away for $40. Send me a PM, first reply gets it.

  23. If gas prices keep climbing, I suspect that will have an impact on ANY motoring related events. It hurts when you have to pay over $50 to fill up a MINI. I sure am glad I'm not driving a full size vehicle or one of those SUV's with a 20 + gallon tank! My fingers are crossed that gas prices come back down and that next year is as good as this year with all of the "originals" showing up.
  24. That would be cool! Keep pestering them!
  25. BUT! Was he willing to work with you on the missed work? That's the proof in the pudding for you!
