  1. I still haven't gotten confirmation that we were accepted. I will follow up with them today! I'm planning on decorating Gretchen as a race car. It's easy and I can do it ahead of time.
  2. There is also a car show after the parade. If anyone is interested, here is the link to the application: https://form.jotform.com/71247743584160
  3. Poolesville Day Parade The parade starts at 10am. We will meet at promptly at 9:15 and head to the start location. The meeting location is TBD due to the many road closures that day. This is limited to 10 cars. I will keep a running list of who is going and if we reach 10 cars, I will start a waiting list.
  4. Event Title: Poolesville Day Parade Event Date: 09/15/2018 09:15 AM Event Address: Poolesville, MD, 20837 Poolesville Day Parade The parade starts at 10am. This is a friend's house with a really long driveway. We will leave from there as they are about 1/4 mile from the start point. Bathrooms will not be available. 5. They just announced they are closed today. Hopefully it won’t rain anymore and they’ll be open tomorrow.
  6. We are bringing crab dip.
  7. There won't be any for a couple of weeks. It's Seneca Polo Club if you want to check it out. However, verify what you see on Facebook. They hadn't updated that there wasn't a match on Sunday and several people (not just us) came by. They are really nice and we ended up hanging out in the clubhouse for awhile and some of the other people that came went to the barn to pet the horses.
  8. We will meet you on the Maryland side of the ferry!
  9. There was a mix up with their calendar and there is no polo today.
  10. Polo in Poolesville! Please join us on Sunday, July 29 to watch a polo match at Seneca Polo Club in Poolesville. The match starts at 10:30am and last one hour. This is a really fun and laid back way to enjoy polo. If it’s your first time, there are plenty of friendly people to explain what is going on. This is a tailgating event, so please bring whatever you would like to eat or drink. (Alcohol is allowed and somewhat encouraged). There is a pavilion with seating and real restrooms, however, it’s a good idea to bring your own chairs if you have them. This is a very family friendly event! Kids are welcome! Dogs are welcome too, though there are other dogs and horses on the property, so please use your judgment. Another thing to note, the road to get there is gravel, for about a mile. With all of the rain we’ve had it will be a little rough. If you really want to go and this is a deal breaker, please let me know. We can work something out. Seneca Polo Club 20760 Whites Ferry Road (It’s between Poolesville and Whites Ferry) We will be heading to Cugini’s for lunch after!
  11. I RSVP'd "maybe" because I want to go, but we have a really busy weekend. If I do go, I will not be going to dinner, so if you need to make reservations, don't count me.
  12. Ooh... I’ve really been missing the ability to open the windows and sunroof from my key fob!
  13. Is it possible they are looking at the trip odometer? I just can't believe this car only has 43 miles on it. It just doesn't make sense.
  14. Someone will buy it... after they wash it!
  15. 43 miles? Just 43? How is that even possible? Also, can someone please clean the poor thing? I feel bad for it.
  16. July 14. We have autocross on 6/30.
  17. Thanks Corey! Russ sold his Paceman and I was going to buy his extra set of wheels. Oh well...
  18. I can’t find a straight answer on this... Will wheels from a Paceman/Countyman fit an F56? I know the bolt pattern is the same, but I’m not sure if there’s more to it.
  19. Since you don't have the turbo, the issue isn't as bad. I wouldn't think you would need this, especially with the low mileage.
  20. It needs to be burned down.
  21. Did you get a cabin?
  22. I just talk to whoever answers the phone. I'll usually ask if Justin can do the alignment, though.
  23. There were a few years where Katie hosted a DCMM "party" at her cabin on Wednesday after the Welcome Dinner. That was usually fun and lower key than a run. Of course, a run that's just our group and isn't advertised to the public wouldn't be as stressful. It could be more of a "drive to this place and do something" than an a "plan the twistiest run to the craziest place possible" run. I like the boat idea that I saw somewhere on Facebook, too. Maybe we could get some carrier pigeons to help with the communication issues?
  24. I'm happy to help especially if it's just DCMM (or friends of DCMM). I'm having Spaghetti Dinner flashbacks with tons of people wandering in and out of the cabin.
  25. They book up fast, especially if you need to go on a Saturday! It took almost a month for me to get Michael's car in.
