It would be fun if the parade was at night. It would be easier to see all of the lights.
On a separate note... I was driving home last night and saw a Jeep Wrangler on the Beltway that had Christmas lights strung all over it (they were not on) and wondered if they had been in the parade.

Anyone want to dress nice this year? I think I am
I'm planning on it! It's fun to dress up.

If you need tires I work for hogan and sons Goodyear in fairfax. Come on over I'll hook you up. Ask for John.

John took great care of me and Cricket now has a set of BF Goodrich all seasons! :top::motor:

If anyone who didn't get a sticker today and would like one, please PM me with your address and I'll get one out to you.
If you need stickers from prior years, I may be able to accommodate that, as well. Just let me know what years you need.

2007 with 140,000 miles. She's almost exactly 9 years old and I bought her new.

I can help make things (handouts, etc), but I'm out of town on 11/27.

I'm getting ready to replace Cricket's tires, but before I place the order, I thought I'd check to see if anyone was getting rid of any.
I'm looking for 17" all-seasons or winters in good shape (enough to get through at least one season, if not two). I don't need wheels, but I'll consider it if it's part of the deal.

Does David reply? I RSVP'd two weeks ago but no response.
Everyone ought to just give up anyway, since they won't beat Mimi's
I haven't heard back either. I don't think he typically replies.

I ended up getting this one:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DVSSCG6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I haven't had to use it yet, but hopefully it will work when I need it to!

PMOA has announced the Costume Contest
I sent my RSVP to David.

If you have not been to one these before, I really encourage you to go. Even if you never intend to detail your own car, you will learn a lot. Darryl is great!
I'd be there if I was in town!

Are the tires all-seasons or summers? Also, are you willing to sell just the tires?

Does anyone have a recommendation for a portable jump box? After a minor panic this morning, I realized I need one of these. There won't always be someone around to give me a jump.
There are tons on Amazon, but it's really overwhelming and the reviews are all over the place. I don't need one with an air compressor, I already carry one of those. I don't care if it's one of the tiny ones that fits in the glove box, either. I just want it to work when I need it to.
If anyone has any personal recommendations, that would be great!

I'm stuck as a maybe until I know if Michael's travel has changed, which I will hopefully know by this afternoon.

1,350 tractors just crossed the bridge!

Is this still on for tomorrow? If so, what is the ETA at Rocky Point and is that the end point? I might meet up with the group there since I live so close. :motor:

Yay! The date doesn't conflict with Poolesville Day!!
For the last few years our annual meeting has been at Hard Times in Fairfax. However, they allow smoking in a bar near the room we have and the smoke has become intolerable. We even had someone leave early last year which is not what we want. We have been looking hard and creatively to find a new location. We'll post details as soon as it's all firmed upRequirements are parking, a big enough private room, central location around the Beltway area and a price that the club can afford. This has turned out more challenging than we expected but I'm pretty sure we finally found a place.
That's really too bad about Hard Times. They were so nice to work with, but the smoke is just nasty. Finding locations for the meeting is one of the hardest parts!!

I added the route sheet to the Route Repository in case anyone is interested. :motor:

I vote for Mosaic. I'm free any night next week.

I know Richmond is a "do what you like" night but I want to hang with other mini owners
What's the move on Sunday night? Thanks everyone.
Here's a link to the events that RVA MINIs and HR MINIs have put together.

The route sheets have been posted on the MINI Takes The States website.

Michael uses Adam's Leather and Interior Cleaner and Adam's Leather Conditioner on his Roadster's leather interior. It does a great job and smells good.
I've also used it to clean and condition some of my leather bags, and it works well for that, too.

I made my own roof graphic (it's just on the sunroof). Do you know what you have in mind? I might be able to help.
