  1. I think we're getting somewhere!!!!

I think Domo would make a great rudolph but I am really bad with coming up with these creative names.

Poison Ivy would be a cool Holly Berry

    River could be Frosty

I made holly leaves and berry stickers one year for Cricket. It looked pretty nice. I'm not sure it's flashy enough for a parade, but I'm sure I still have the design if Poison Ivy wants some.

  2.

2nd Annual Charity Car Show to Benefit Operation Second Chance

    Poolesville Golf Course

    16601 West Willard Road

    Poolesville, MD 20837

This event is hosted by Cuginis (where we went after the picnic!). There will be live music, tasty beverages and really fun cars. It also supports Operation Second Chance, the same charity we support with MINIs Take the Beltway.

It would be a fun to head up to after the Annual Meeting (and you can take Whites Ferry)!

Here's a link to the event page on Facebook for more details about the day: https://www.facebook.com/events/468064740024286/

*The event officially starts earlier than 5pm, but I do not want this to interfere with the Annual Meeting.

  3. I just picked up another 20 beers today! All different! I picked a wide variety, so there's lots of new stuff to try.

I picked up a few more this morning. I tried to go easy on the hoppy beers, so there is more variety. We probably have way more beer than we need. :top:

  4. Mark and I are staying at the accommodations at the track. As of yesterday there were 3 rooms left at $120 a night. We're just staying for Sunday night.

I think Brent is staying someone less expensive.

Having done Phil Wicks twice, I would highly recommend staying Monday night, as well. You will be completely wiped out and having to drive 4 hours home will be absolutely miserable.

  5. I've taken Cricket to the Phil Wicks school twice. While I enjoyed it both times, the first time was a lot better. I did learn a lot about my car and how to handle her. That was back in 2008, so she was still completely stock, including runflat all-seasons. I'd love to go again, but like Tigger and Mr. OEM, she's just too old.

  6. One of my non-MINI owning friends* was on her way back from Shenandoah on Saturday evening and saw you guys on 66! She mentioned how much she liked German's MINI! :motor:

*For now. Her husband is looking at buying a 2010 Clubman.
