I guess at least one of us should record the successful pass-by wave on outer Beltway around Exit 44 at 5pm Friday. I didn't react immediately to GreenCactus and Cricket's freakin foghorn because I knew I wasn't doing anything wrong minding my own business in the slower lane. But hearing it a second time right next to me nearly ripping my eardrum in half, I look to my left and see Laura excitedly waving and I wave back, just as excitedly :itsme: HI!
Sorry for nearly causing you to go deaf! I rarely see anyone and if so, it's usually impossible to wave due to traffic. I might have gotten a little excited.

Oh yeah GreenCactus, I know it won't be a dramatic increase in handling, but it sure does go a long way in BLINGING out the engine bay, plus it easily adds like 20 HP just because it has the JCW logo on it!
That's exactly why I did it!

I have the JCW front strut brace and to be perfectly honest, it was not worth the money. It looks nice and I don't regret getting it, but I did not notice any difference at all after I put it on.

I have accumulated a bunch of die cast MINIs. They are all some variant of British Racing Green and White. I think most of them are 1:24 scale, but there's a few others. I don't have pictures because they are in my storage unit. I'm just seeing if anyone would be interested in taking some off my hands.
Pick up would be in Tysons (preferred) or Poolesville.

I ordered some Plasti-Dip for a project that is no longer going to happen (not MINI related) so I have brand new, never used Plasti-Dip up for grabs. Here's what I have:
3 cans - Anthracite Grey
1 can - Glossifier
1 - Spray Trigger (makes spraying the can a lot easier)
Asking $30 for all. I'd prefer to sell as a package.
Pickup in Tysons or Poolesville

Anyone happen to have a spare rear cover for the tachometer on the R60 I can use as a template? ...or a whole tach they may not be using for a while?
I want to take a stab at a custom phone mount to put my Torque app'd phone to the left of the tach, viewing it through the steering wheel. I want the phone to partially over lap the bottom left corner of the tach, so that it (mostly) can be seen through the steering wheel.
...unless someone knows of a company that makes one already, but I haven't been able to find anything.

That's really nice! Unfortunately, I can't print on vinyl.
Any sign shop should be able to do that. I think the guy who does the clear-bra installs does vinyl work.

I have a bunch of MINI shirts to get rid of. I've got them with me, so I'll bring them tonight.
They are mostly women's size XL, but they really fit more like a Medium/Large.
Free to anyone who wants some, I just want them to go to a good home! :top:
