Hint...hint.... NYC won't be in any part of the caravan and the meet. The gathering place and the ferry terminal will be at Liberty State Park in NJ, just off NJ turnpike.

Is the ferry a walk-on type with the sole purpose to visit the Statue/Ellis Island? So the plan then if I get it right, is to all meet in NJ at the parking lot, and all catch a ferry (leaving our MINI's in NJ) and go over
